This is a very calm piano based melodic ambient track inspired by nature.

The track was originally made in august 2000 with Fast Tracker 2, for the online competition called Heavenly Music Compo 3. The track placed second - yey! :).

The setting of the track is the world of JRR Tolkien, and we get to follow the wood elf Talindra making her way through the forest to the Grey Havens, from where she is about to depart to Westerness.﻿ 

Pretty much how I envisioned it back then (and before it was even filmed), you could actually find in the movie Return Of The King, when Arwen and her company of elves are walking through the forest leaving Middle Earth.

The Grey Havens: Talindra's Journey

This is an uplifting melodic synthpop track. It has clean samples with some panning effects used on the pads and lead instruments. 

The typical atmosphere of my style is of course still there, but this time I was particularly inspired by some 1980's synth sounds and wanted to create something more upbeat towards pop - in contrast to Sirene Song, which was released a few months before this one. 
But in truth, this tune turned out quite soft anyway, haha... :)

Dancing Cherubim

This is a harmonic and very relaxing piece of ambient music mainly inspired by water and nature. It has minimalistic soothing piano and flute melodies. No drums.

A lot of feeling and thought was put into this song and I wanted the song to create a relaxing sensation triggering the listeners' imagination. Someone actually said she had her best sleep of her life using this as background music.

In 2002 this song was remixed by Andrew Rothman (http://archive.org/download/iuma-arothman/arothman_-_Sirene_Song_feat._ArchAngel.mp3) and used as background music in the lunar landing program at the Shafran Planetarium at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

Sirene Song

This is a flowing melodic drum & bass track that was created as background music for the demo called Meditation (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJ6E3d_JZ-w).

You will find soft synth pads, piano and flute melodies, and a deep melodic sine base filling up the lower registers in the second half of the tune.

Meditation (demo music)

Chiptune tracker music is a bit outside my comfort zone, but it's fun to experiment with the tiny waveforms that make up the characteristic sound. 

The first patterns (bars) of this tune was originally made as a demonstration as to how easy it can be to create something simple and melodic, but then the track grew and I saw some potential to finalize it and make something serious of it. 

The original file size of this tune is merely 41KB (which is within this genre quite large actually).
Usually chiptunes are made to loop (also to keep the file size down), but this one has a fade-out kind of ending.

Chip Ohoj

This has become my most "famous" tune ever released. It has been downloaded more than 36K times from The Mod Archive alone, and has figured as background music in the freeware game Lost Labyrinth.
It is one of my earlier pieces and is actually not that advanced, but it has something appealing that sticks... might be that high pitched melodic lead flute that will pierce through your speakers :)

Someone once called it a "perfect union of fantasy and breakbeat", and perhaps that is as close to a description as you can get. 
The tune is very melodic and starts off with some airy synth pads that carry through the whole song. It has the typical ArchAngel ambient feeling to it but is combined with some breakbeat loops.

Archons of Light

Created and finished in 2019, this is my first public release in many years.

The story behind this track is I wanted to contribute to a friend's computer game he was developing, and offered to create some background music. He wanted a retro feeling to it, so I started out with some chip samples and the famous chip arpeggio, ending up with this melodic retro pop chip tune.
It was created a rainy day, hence the title ;)

This track seamlessly loops for a continuous listening experience when played with a proper XM player such as XMPlay.

Stalaktos

In the 90's Swedish demo-scene I was active tracking XM-music with tracker software and releasing tracks via BBS:es, former Trax In Space, ModArchive and the likes.

My style of music is melodic, harmonic and ambient. I often use soft pads, pianos, flutes and strings. You will often find melodies in different layers both in the foreground and subtly in the background of the sound scape. 
I want to trigger your imagination and make your thoughts wander away creating pictures in your mind. 

The songs do not have traditional pop song formats built up with verses, choruses and bridges. They are more ambient, flowing and progress like they are telling a story of some kind.
