Heute präsentiere ich euch mit meiner Nummer 59 einen grandiosen Mix vom jungen Wahl-Berliner Iorie. Erst vor ein paar Tagen hatte er im Kater Blau sein Live-Set Debüt, das auf voller Länge mehr als überzeugt hat.

Musik war schon von früherster Kindheit ein fester Bestandteil in seinem Leben. Neben einer klassischen Musikausbildung kam er auch in den Genuss im Chor zu singen. Mit bereits 15 Jahren entdeckte er die Liebe zur elektronischen Musik und hier konnte er dann alles was er gelernt hat wunderbar zusammenbringen. Als er dann so alt war um die Clubwelt zu erkunden, war er dann auch schon meist hinter den Decks zu finden. 

Neben seinen Releases für Ritter Butzke Studios oder Metanoia, begeistert mich Iorie vor allem durch seine wohl durchdachten Podcasts. Er erschafft mit seinen Sets immer diese gewisse Stimmung die sich nicht in Worte fassen lässt --- frisch, überraschend und faszinierend.

Seit gut 1,5 Jahren betreibt er außerdem die Podcast Reihe / Label Serafin Audio Imprint mit einer grandiosen Künstlerauswahl. Auch hier darf man gespannt sein was einen in nächster Zeit noch so alles erwartet. 

Für sound(ge)cloud hat er sich auch wieder mächtig ins Zeug gelegt und einen Mix gezaubert der minimal und slow und doch treibend und groovig zu gleich ist.

Olaf Stuut loves telling stories with challenging harmonies, contemporary percussions and deep emotional vibes. 
With a tremendous output of magnificent records his music is featured on labels like Atomnation, Traum, Cocoon, Zaubernuss and infectious Music. The list of supports being even more impressive: The Acid, Max Cooper, Laurent Garnier, Agoria, Minilogue, John Digweed, Joris Voorn, Stimming, Hernan Cattaneo, Dominik Eulberg, Nuno Dos Santos and Applescal among others. Check his impressive discography for all his EP’s, album and remixes (100+ tracks with his name on it since 2012). His more recent work includes an exhilarating EP on Atomnation on which he also releases his second LP last summer. The album tour saw him performing all over Europe and included a North America tour. Some other projects are his remix for Max Cooper’s, The Acid, Ryan Davis, Minilogue and Satori to name a few.
Like most artists, he has a musical background in all kinds of formations. Playing multiple instruments has now made him the versatile and dedicated producer he is taking inspiration from a wide spectrum of genres like jazz, funk, afro, latin and rock music. Olaf Stuut also does amazing sound designs for video productions and has a tremendous output when his mind state and creative thinking is right. He continuously experiments and changes his way of working to keep challenging him self and renewing his sounds. “Vibe and emotion through sound, carrying the observer through a danceable and dreamy trip” is how his productions are best interpreted.
