Demon Tweaks - Grindhouse

Dubstep as a genre has most certainly had its ups and downs over the past 10 years. From the earliest days of Big Apple Records and the OG DMZ to the UK-wide explosion of 140 delirium to the induction of EDM and everything between then and now. Sonically, we now find ourselves in a position where it has never been harder to pinpoint exactly what makes a dubstep tune, with everything from the rawcus "Riddim" side of the genre falling under the same extensive bracket as the deeper, more dungeon sounding compositions. 

For today's exclusive premiere, we are taking a trip into a much more tearout side of proceedings as we meet Demon Tweaks, a Burton on Trent based producer whose sound continues to diversify as he travels further down the road of his production career. In the past we have seen him put together pulsating 4x4 creations and even deeper dubstep designs, but today's premiere is most definitely a bit more rawcus that what we have seen before! 

Taking the title 'Re-Animation', this brand new stomper lands courtesy of Dub-All Or Nothing Records, and boy have they delivered us a bit of a dancefloor treat. Demon Tweaks himself describes this one as a throwback to the classic 20011 Circus sound, and this is a pretty accurate description of what he has achieved. We hear a vibrant array of sizzling, hard hitting lead LFO's run riot amidst a field of big room drum smashes and an awesome sense of atmosphere from the off. It really does take us back to those early large-scale dubstep dances and we couldn't be happier to be getting involved with this one!
