San Antonio, TX-based metal quintet Kingdom Collapse are a seriously powerful musical juggernaut who, if you have any reason to doubt us whatsoever, will turn you into a believer after you simply hit play (via the SoundCloud player just above) on their new track "Bottom Feeder". You'll notice that your mouth is now hanging agape and collecting flies as an absolutely thundering wall of sound has enveloped you entirely and begun to draw mental comparisons to that of being tossed around in a tidal wave. Categories are part of the business, but now and then they can be just time-consuming. You can claim that ANY GIVEN DAY from Gelsenkirchen, Germany can be related to the sub-genres new age metal, metalcore and deathcore. It’s also save to say that their sound unites low tuned, energy loaded, hard-lined heaviness with enthralling melodic parts and an impressing vocal performance. But what you also can do is to describe their style as down-to-earth as the band does and “just leave it with metal.” ANY GIVEN DAY set the very normal, daily madness to music. Rough and unadorned! Straight in your face! Just metal. 

“Home Is Where The Heart Is“

For almost a decade the five musicians from the heart of the Ruhr Area had known each other and were able to gain experience in different formations of the metal- and hardcore-scene on their way to ANY GIVEN DAY (EXTINCTION PROJECT, BUTTERFLY COMA, THE MERCURY ARC, HORUS PREVAILS, MY SECRET PLAN). When they finally got together in spring 2012, it soon became clear that the band wouldn’t be just another project: “We are like brothers. Friendship and the passion for music are the fundament of the band ANY GIVEN DAY.” 

“My Longest Way Home“

On September 5, 2014 ANY GIVEN DAY started their biggest offensive to this date: their – by a hardly earned fan-base – long awaited debut album saw the light of day! “My Longest Way Home” is the result of an intensive songwriting process and was made in cooperation with Aljoscha Sieg from the Pitchback studios (MARATHONMANN, ESKIMO CALLBOY, VITJA). 

Right after the release, ANY GIVEN DAY set sails for the – by EMP presented – “My Longest Way Home”-release tour and showcased their new album on four acclaimed concerts in Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin and a show in Dortmund, that completely sold-out ten minutes after the box office had opened. And when the guys were informed, on the way home from the last gig, that their debut would enter the Germany Media Control album Charts on position 28, euphoria broke completely loose. Even though a certain success had been on the horizon, ANY GIVEN DAY got totally surprised by the staggering response of both the album sales and the voices of the press and of course their fans. 

On “My Longest Way Home” ANY GIVEN DAY generate their very own and direct language. Without any hidden political agenda, the band puts the everyday life in the center of attention and turns the supposedly small subjects into big ones: “Stress within the family or friends that turn into enemies, trouble with the boss or bad luck with love. The ordinary things that everyone of us has to deal with.” Just metal.

“Sliced Reflections” is a new EP album by Tetarise and Microcosmos Records.

The project of Eugene Dolgikh from Kursk (Russia) called Tetarise started in 2008; it produces music in different genres such as trance (melodic, progressive, psychedelic), ambient, and chill-out. In 2013 Tetarise took part in the popular weekly radio show A State of Trance hosted by Armin van Buuren; in 2018 its album “Drifting and dreaming” was released on Microcosmos Records.

Music by Tetarise is full of warm tonalities pouring at listeners with its melodic bass lines, lilting techno rhymes and airy guitar chords.

The gentle sound of “Sliced Reflections” takes to a smooth musical journey to the future through the flow of present with tiny gleams of past… The basis of experience together with new experiments are put into a balanced musical interlacement that gives a pure pleasure to fans of chillout.
