Sidenote aka Andrew Gray from his appearance at our epic 10 year anniversary celebration. Andrew was a big inspiration for our old weekly event structure … 4 different crews curating over the 4 weeks of any given month. This grand design helped create a lot of variety and an air of the unexpected from event to event. His set here is rightfully emblematic of that eclectic aesthetic, taking us all over the map on a defiant genre-bending journey

Kudos LoKey (AKA Snappy Homefry) is a self-proclaimed sound alchemist crafting musical elixirs for listeners seeking a therapeutic dose of sonic medicine with a global psychedelic flavour. Producer/DJ and multi-instrumentalist who’s career as a touring bass player and studio operator at Playhouse Studio (Toronto) is now focused on the creation and sharing of his new sound.

Mixing Hip Hop with ambient textures, Dubstep with Cumbia and always rooted to a foundation in funk, Kudos is a true style bender. Known as an honest DJ, who isn’t shy about revealing his deeper agenda that stands behind music with a social narrative, dropping samples of motivation into his unique sound tapestries.

Formally synapps, the name change is a choice to align his efforts with a more earth focused collaborative intention. Kudos; for blessing, honouring. LoKey; is to unlock a rooted earth connection and a subtle nod to his love for Bass Music.

Toured across North America at Beloved, Lucidity, Shambhala, Harvest Festival, Solstice, Future Forest, Valhalla, Praxis, Evolve Festival, sharing stages with Andreilien, The Human Experience, Adham Shaikh, Michael Red, Dubmatix and Soohan.
