The orbital angular momentum (𝐿) of a particle moving in a central force field is given by:

p=mv is the linear momentum of the particle.
× denotes the cross-product, making L a vector quantity

Orbital angular momentum is a fundamental conserved quantity in both classical and quantum mechanics arising from rotational symmetry. It embodies the relationship between space, motion, and rotational inertia, influencing celestial mechanics, atomic structure, and quantum field theory. In quantum mechanics, it is quantized and follows discrete eigenvalue distributions governed by the angular momentum operators satisfying the Lie algebra of the rotation group SO(3).

Archive 8 is my Solo project (Mostly Techno), I´ve turned into modular synths lately - started with the Moog Mother-32 and the Moog DFAM, very nice pieces both of them, and I must admit those 2 totally turned me over to the modular side, it´s really a joy to be working with those kind of machines, very different than traditionel synths.
