[TaleTwelve Reupload] Introduction

Integrity didn't have a legitimate hard mode planned (we had a gag one instead), but we wanted to design and implement hard mode versions of our original encounters. 

In the game, enemies would've been seen wandering the overworld, similar to Deltarune. There was a small chance that when making contact with one of these enemies, their sprite would change, and you would start a fight with a more challenging variant of that enemy. This variant of the battle theme would play instead of the Alpha variant.

It's a shame, I can't seem to find the hard mode designs for our Ruins monsters anymore. I never saved them and I can't find them in my DMs with any of the artists. No clue where they went. If I ever find them, I'll update this description.

ADDENDUM 7/19/2023: I found the references for the hard mode monsters scattered across three different images. Organization was not always my strong suit. Not all of them had names yet, but you should be able to tell what is what based off of the Ruins monsters I shared in the Alpha version.

(The Human enters Mettaton's hotel and interacts with a weird shaped looking object)

Papyrus:
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS THING DOES.

Instead of going downstairs of the location to leave just like in original Ruins, you'd instead have to interact with one of the diamond boys in front of the door, who would give you a hint about one of the employees possibly having a spare key to access it, which activates sort of a mini-quest on finding a key for it since the door is locked.
... Except that Ruins Dummy in the dog statue body who's also upstairs has the key, and they just give it to you once you interact with the door once.

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore IX, the Aborted Genocide ending, details an ending in which a bored and jaded Frisk decided to kill absolutely everyone with the exception of a monster or two near the end of their journey, just to see what would happen. Alphys has no choice but to take over, and the Underground has morphed into a semi-industrialized society motivated by pure aggression and vengeance. Humans are to be treated as...well, take a wild guess.

With no one else left to lead, Alphys assumes the throne. With everyone she's ever loved having been wiped away by the human's wrath, her old persona is gone. She's airing out all her dirty laundry, and she doesn't care what anyone thinks of her anymore. No more hiding and no more shyness. Now is the time for action. She rules this new Underground with an iron fist. Not because she wants to, but because she has to.
