As you probably noticed it, the strange situation we are living in has quite impacted our regularity in terms of podcasts.
With this 2hours15minutes set by outstanding DJ & editor J.A.Z. (@j-a-z-1) we hope to balance a bit our silence from the past weeks.

In this mix that J.A.Z. nicknamed "Am I ever gonna dance again?", he pulled together a pretty full-on dance tape where he tried to find again the fun he had with the stuff he played live.
Job's done, ending up with this 2 hours mix as he couldn't stop playing, mixing together some real standards and a bunch of his newer digs.

Romain has been a key innovator in the Hong Kong & Asian music scene for the past 12 years. He has spearheaded multiple fresh concepts. 
Roofest was the island's first rooftop festival. Fauve Radio, the first full-time and award wining radio station. The Pharmacy being the first dance music oriented record store in Hong Kong. On top of all of this, he has been organising monthly parties under the name ROAM and helping build the Shi Fu Miz Festival by bringing international artists such as Kink, Jayda G, Ben UFO, Move D, Habibi Funk, Demuja and many more. 

He is now launching his production career with releases on his own imprint Fauve Records as well as on other labels such as Fantastic Voyage, Mamie’s Records, Ca$hminus, 41,000Hz Social Club & Hard Fist Records. Only in his first 6 months of producing, his music has been played by some of the biggest acts in the game such as DJ Harvey, The Black Madonna, Gerd Janson, Horse Meat Disco, Skatebärd, Lauer, Tornado Wallace, Lipelis, Orpheu The Wizard, Kamma & Masalo to name a few and also in some of the most iconic venues such as Berghain Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, Dekmantel, Igloo Festival, Pikes and more. 
His Boiler Room debut during the Shi Fu Miz festival 2019 has really marked the beginning of his full-time DJ/Producer career.

His extensive travelling for tours in places like Asia, Europe and his contact with the music industry players on all fronts, has helped him shape his music to fit most dance-floors, from Disco, to House, to Italo, to Funk, to Soul, to Afrobeat, to Dark Disco and so on... 

Thanks to years of crate digging and a solid 10 years of DJing this fellah knows his classics as well as some of the most obscure digs. All his sets are different, you will definitely be in for a treat.

It starts off breezy and carefree after which it gets infused with adventurous summer energy, stopping by in various exotic places and ending with a dance on the beach.
Typical for Wes' summer, in which he was constantly changing plans according to the weather and mood. This spirit also comes back in the act of the recording; "Even though I started the recording with a well thought out plan, during the recording it felt better to start pulling out tunes of the closet spontaneously", he tells us.

The infamous Denis Simachev Bar resident Lipelis out of Moscow came down to dig the bins and record a mix in the store. Lipelis was in Amsterdam for Lente Kabinet, where he joined the Red Light Radio stage for a DJ set. Beware! Mr L is a sucker for weird disco with a swirl of sleeze. However, for this mix he selected an array of sweet tracks, including a few by his friend Olefonken.

Leonid Lipelis is one of Russia's promising DJs, who is famous for his awesome Lipelis Edits in L.I.E.S's black series and much more. We heard that he dreamt of becoming Mancuso when he was little. Listening to his mixes, this story isn't as weird as it seems.
