Based in Brooklyn, we dare to say Darshan is a true NYC legend with more than 25 years of djing and producing quality music under many aliases. 

You all know, or should, the cult Darshan's project “Metro Area” on Environ, with his teammate Morgan Geist, who captured the very best of the crossover between house music and disco.
In solo, he produced records as Darshan Jesrani, Cylinder, Funn City or Acronym City. He's also part of Siren alongside Dennis Kane with many releases on Compost Records. Can't name all the projects and collaborations...
He also made plenty of remixes for the likes of Hugh Masekela, Tracey Thorn (Everything But The Girl) , Escort, Mock & Toof etc etc...
He also runs his own Startree label since 2013.

MM Cast 11: Sim Fossil (Mister T Records)

It's been a while since we haven't done any excursions in discoid territories, we've decided to go back to the roots in this new episode, back to the sound where everything  started, both as djs and as a label. 

The guys from Mister T Records have been doing a great job lately releasing a bunch of great editions and mixes signed by artists from the likes of Joutro Mundo, Sim Fossil or Dj Duckcomb among others.

Paris based but originally from Moscow dj, producer and collector shows us this time his vast knowledge and huge repertory of records with an outstanding mix where "funk" will be the leitmotiv of this new MM Cast.

Sim Fossil has always been fascinated by electronic music ,he started producing music at the age of 13 when he found his first inspirations in house and downtempo artists as  King Kooba. Later on in Paris, found his path in music with Mister T Records, calling the attention of well respected djs from the present underground scene.

Relentless lawyer and digger among the diggers, he's praised by everybody for his kindness and his incomparable knowledge of vintage music. Vidal promised to deliver this mix when the dinosaurs were still on earth so well happy Alzheimer doesn't get all of us yet. He was also our first guest in our still running "La Rotonde Stalingrad" residency for a memorable party. Welcome on board Monsieur !
