This collection of songs are about being in transit. They explore the journey one undertakes in navigating grief, heartbreak and celebrate the power in rebuilding oneself through creativity and connection. Writing these songs has been a cathartic experience of healing & celebrating the ability to find newness & magic in the world against all odds. It is inspired by the process of finding strength and security in the complexity & beauty of nature and in the friendships that shine a light on the dark passages that we sometimes need to explore as human beings.. 

To us, these songs are reminders of what it is to feel, to love and to experience loss. To come out the other side knowing that these things are all intrinsically connected. They are battle cries to return to when we lose sight of what is important to us to help us find a way back to who we are. 

The title ‘Fibonacci Sequins’ was coined by our friend Rikky Cohn whose facebook wall is dedicated to an ever growing collection of playful double entendres. When we scrolled through it after he passed away ‘Fibonacci Sequins’ felt like a metaphor for this journey and the perfect title for this EP.
