most of the tracks of this album date back quite far, some of them close to two decades. they represent visions from perspectives that no longer exist outside of these records. the person that shaped them is no longer here as a present experience, yet each and every image of life is imprinted into the fabric of consciousness, and that imprint will remain as long as this universe continues to exist and maybe beyond.

If you are a Dub-Tech devotee then I'm sure you are well aware of Upwellings aka Vincent Raude. During this series we have not really focused on Live recordings but when Vincent suggested one we jumped at the opportunity. We are massive fans of Upwellings and are proud to have him aboard + we are also treated to a few unreleased tracks - yess!

This is a well crafted hour of goodness.

All tracks were played live by upwellings exclusively for the primary colours mix series.

“The field recordings for this album were especially intense. Captured during the winter months, there were many days when the temperature was higher than average with strong winds. Initially dissapointed with too much wind noise, I discovered, and was quite surprised, with the results of these captured field recordings. The collection of field recordings became the foundation of these arrangements and consequently became the all encompassing title of these compositions, ‘Wind Colors’.”
