If you enjoyed our first release, surely you will love our new EP by Zoltan Ban. He really knows how to manage lush pad sounds and lazy chords in calm pieces with a pure dub sound. The remix by the well-known french artist Upwellings (Telrae, MOSHItaka) is the perfect complement for the release, with his deep infused revision of 'Skimming Stones'.

Zoltan Ban - Skimming Stones | Upwellings Dub Remix

The global sound of house music is alive and well and here’s the proof with our first signing from Indonesia. Double Deer’s Kimo brings four tracks of crisp deepness and vibe heavy disco that absolutely smashes it.

First up Born Out is a bonafide disco thumper that builds around live drums, a nagging disco bass and acid line before the tension is released to an incessant piano riff and swooping strings. Then it’s mayhem as the chord changes and arps add to the mix as it drives to the peak. This has been road tested by the Paper DJs over the past few months and never fails to take the roof off.

Bow Down is a change of pace and features Kal with a super hooky vocal. It’s a fusion of the Far East and balearica with Kimo's trademark arps and dance floor dynamics. There are guitars and synth lines a plenty plus Rhodes and live drums that steadily suck you in to a hazy world of space disco.

Whirl takes a more hypnotic route that is nailed down by a cowbell and analogue bass. Gamelan steel drums give it that evocative Eastern flavour as it hypnotises you in to a delayed break when things get serious. The riff keeps on with leads, pads and synths for a track that is fresh, dancefloor heavy and dripping in atmosphere.

Finally First Kick is a more straight forward house track with a riffing organ that develops in to pushing synth and walking bass for middle of the night head down tackle.

Next up on Hell Yeah is another fine transmission from Russia in the form of a Uninc & Kolomensky EP. There must be something in the water over there right now because the country is producing plenty of red hot sounds and this new four tracker is no different. 
Kolomensky just released an EP on UK label Clandestino, has been remixed by Hell Yeah’s Balearic Gabba Sound System as well as Felix Dickinson and has had his tunes played by none other than Andrew Weatherall and Leo Mas. Here he links with partner in crime Uninc and together they have a big arsenal of fat tunes that are wild in tempo, sample based, sprinkled with acid and set to get any party started. This is the first batch of them and it doesn’t disappoint. 
Up first is ‘Bastard’, a loose but body popping tune with 80s electro claps, prickly bass and all sorts of sirens, vocal samples and lasers adding detail to the prowling groove. ‘Doormos’ is more smooth and balearic, with drifting trumpets bringing a beach vibe to the classic vocal samples while ‘Into the Thing’ is a fantastic brew of synths, claps, 909 drums, boogie chords and general wonkiness that will liven up any set, especially with the *** ***** ***** vocal samples. Lastly, 'Svadba' is a full on and busy party tune with stomping drums, wild xylophones and tribal chanting getting you up on your toes with your hands in the air. 
These are four tracks that are packed to the brim with crazy sounds, effects, samples and colour, and they are a lot of fun.

Growing up together in the shadow of a U.S. Army base in West Germany during their formative years, Thomas "Saap" Sabrowsky and Daniel Nentwig of the Berlin-based duo The Working Elite have offered up their recreational EP, 'Bumper Cars', to Tim Sweeny's Beats in Space imprint as a "small act of diplomatic celebration."

Ahead of the EP's digital release, duo member Saap and Lauer of Tuff City Kids have offered up a glossy electro remix of 'Rockman'. Complete with pummeling lows and slamming synth compositions, this fast-paced and distinct rework is a modish ode to old-school electro that works wonders on the dancefloor.

'Bumper Cars' is scheduled for release on September 21.
