On Saturday of the burn week at Burning Man, when we were all stuck in a dust storm, I decided to go spin on one of the PlayAlchemist stages, the one in the amazing cozy lounge with rich curtains, filled with cushions and salt lamps.

I rarely record my performance (I always forget), but I did it this time. I am humbly sharing this improvised set made in rather tough conditions.

This set starts off with an opening sequence for Sinful's theatrical welcoming to guests that featured dancers and aerial artists. 

I had fun producing the set from start to finish, whilst keeping in mind the creative director's vision and how everything was going to come together. 

It piques interest from the start, with a sexy and groovy beat kicking in, giving a sultry start to the night. And once we get to where it's time to dance the night away, the drive and groove just keeps getting better and better! 

For moments it felt like stepping into The Greatest Showman!

I absolutely love Afro beats — so rhythmic and perfect for moving to. For quite some time, I’ve wanted to record an Afro House set, and now it’s finally happened. To me, this is a beautiful addition to the MeHe collection, featuring tracks that hold warm memories for me. They take me back to various moments, especially my last two trips to South Africa. Even though I’m now about to embark on an exciting journey to Central America, I can’t wait to return to Africa.
