The first song in my first ablum, Fervency, is a song about how the Lord is with us, even in the darkness and the shaking.

I wrote this song at the end of a hard place for my family; my dad had been let go from his job in 2017, and we had no income for about two and a half years. The first time I played this song though, my dad recieved the email that he had been hired for a new job. So even though it felt like "everything was crashing down on me," I know that I am loved by the Father and that He is with me, so I don't have to fear!

Touching the Rain

The third track in my album is written from a place of seeing a friend struggle with depression and suicide. This message is for anyone struggling with the same thing or even just the feeling that God has left. Know that you are still loved and held, even when everything seems crumbling around you.

I wanted the song itself to have a more raw feel, so I left it unfiltered for the most part. The emotion of the words can shine through and not be hidden by a bunch of autotune and production sounds. Hope you are encouraged and enjoy!

This song was written from a place of hardship in my life. As I currently work through some oppressive spirits in my personal life, I needed to write a song that is both a cry for help and a declaration of war. This song is just that: a way to cry out to God and say, "I can't do this alone," and declare "Devil, you've lost your foothold in my life and my mind." I pray that as you listen to and sing along with this song you experience freedom whatever is oppressing you. Enjoy!
