The single is produced by Area Star Production (aka Andre Rudenko & Timofey Reznikov (Worked for such big names as Akon, Katy Perry, Fergie, Pitbull)) and Dimitri Tikovoi (Placebo, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Nicola Roberts, The Saturdays). Club remixes are produced by top DJs Timofey, Loverush UK! and ZHAN.
The song is written by UK songwriters & producers Anniemouse.
This single will be the first release from Shockolady’s forthcoming album and has been co-written with top European & UK producers in true pop-dance style. The music video and supporting promo photos are full of ‘shocko-cosmic’ surprises.
Shockolady began her career in the UK in 2010 as a pop-rock artist. Recent singles from her first album have already been UK club hits. “What’s the F...Fashion?” reached Number 1 in the UK Club Breakers Chart & “Rock in my bed” was in the Top 20 of the UK Commercial Club Charts. On the back of this success, Shockolady was the face of JVC Germany’s new range of ‘BoomBlaster’, involving a major nationwide TV, radio, cinema and online advertising campaign that featured her hit single, cover of T-Rex’s “Get It On”. The video for this single reached more than 100,000 hits on YouTube & was picked up by a number of UK & German TV channels.
Shockolady has already successfully toured with artists including Steps on their nationwide UK arena tour in April 2012, Jedward in the UK in 2010, and T-Rex/ Smokie on their arena tour of Germany in 2011. Shockolady was invited to be a Special guest performer at Formula 1 Grand Prix Silverstone in 2011 as well as performing at the Lovechild Festival and other significant festivals and events around Europe.
