Estamos muy contentos de presentar nuestro vigésimo sexto podcast a cargo de Foreign Policy.

Foreign Policy es un proyecto musical de Thomas Ricard, cofundador de Area Z Records.

Nacido y criado en Toulouse (Francia), ahora reside en Berlín desde hace 2 años.

Descubrió la percusión y la batería cuando era un niño pequeño y desde entonces desarrolló una verdadera atracción por los ritmos contundentes.

Su proyecto se centra principalmente en música industrial, EBM, Noise, Techno, y se inspira en bandas EBM de la vieja escuela como Noise Unit o X-Marks The Pedwalk, hasta pioneros industriales y del techno como Adam X o Ancient Methods, por citar algunos.

Foreign Policy is a musical project from Thomas Ricard, Area Z records co-founder.

Born and raised in Toulouse (France), he is now based in Berlin since 2 years. 

He discovered percussion and drums when he was a little kid and since then he developed a real attraction for hard hitting rythms.

His project is mostly focused on Industrial Music, EBM, Noise, Techno, and draw its inspiration from old school EBM bands like Noise Unit or X-Marks The Pedwalk, to industrial and techno pioneers like Adam X or Ancient Methods to cite a few.

The themes Chrome Corpse evokes pertain to body horror, futuristic war, surrounding with constant feeling of tension and movement which is often martial and violent. Taking inspiration from foreign cyberpunk films and harsh militaristic aesthetics, their goal is to make cold minimal old school EBM with lots of cybernetic muscle and experimentalism.
