We introduce you to Part 1 of 4 for this special "Pacific Northwest Sequence" gathering artists and creators from this little enclosure of lush flora & undergrowth.

Eft is a terrestrial salamander with roots in NJ & Philadelphia. The now Portland based DJ, producer, designer, animator & "World Healer" has spent time slinking through the slimy forest duff sampling the sounds and flavors of the PNW old growth. A natural farmer with a strong connection to the cycles of nature, Eft makes contact with the Sylphs regularly which guide his ethereal selections in ambient, dub techno, experimental, and IDM.

One half of the ambient forward duo World Healing, Eft streamed the music show consistently early last year as a response to the state of the world. From this platform they broadcasted ambient and 4th world sounds, as well as original visuals and animations fused with audio-reactive video synthesis.

In his mix for DAD Eft wades into a chest deep sludge of downtempo chuggers and eventually picks up speed into dance territory with some new and unreleased sparkling techno as well as 90’s rave/trance bangers. Don't sleep on this one

Ophelia aka DJ Luv You is the host of All Kinds of Joy on Skylab Radio, and one of the folk behind LUNA ( @luna_blessings )- a show on LYL Radio, party and mix series. Drawing from the moon's energy; LUNA is a space for sharing creations from womxn, queer and non-binary artists.  We've been keeping an eye on Ophelia for some time and have been so drawn to the playfulness and joy exuded in their mixes and live sets. This one is no different as Ophelia takes us through dreamy breakbeats, deep and groovy dancefloor fillers and left-field housey numbers.
