One of Naarms fastest rising stars, Sam Alfred's career credentials seem to continue lengthening by the day. With releases on Happy Wax Records, Unrestricted Purpose, Phenomena, Love Above Records alongside a support cast that includes Stephan Bodzin, Gerd Janson and Loods, we were more than happy to hand the reigns over for instalment 082.

'I opened this mix with one of my favourite tracks at the moment; 'Doors Of Deception' by Guy Contact. I'm a huge fan of his music and I thought it’d be the perfect track to intro this mix. The rest of the mix includes a range of cuts which I’ve been loving recently from Human Movement, t e s t p r e s s, and one of my all time faves Lxury. Recently with mixes I've tried not to follow a theme of one genre and like to switch it up, so I feel like this was a good example of that!'

As a DJ, producer and co-owner of the CICADA promotional crew, Lucas Boston is a Naarm-based artist adding an underground techno sound to the local club scene. These boys are one of the biggest up and coming artists coming out of Naarm at the moment especially after their debut EP 'COUNTERMEASURES', which consists of 4 heavy hitting rave inspired tracks.
