Estas piezas quedaron fuera de mis lanzamientos oficiales, pero forman parte de la historia que me llevó hasta donde estoy ahora. Con este compilado cierro un ciclo y dejo atrás esta etapa sonora para centrarme en un nuevo camino, con un enfoque más definido y una visión renovada sobre mi música.

Hold onto your hats, folks! New Jersey's very own Danner (US) is back with a tech house beast that'll have speakers quaking and dancefloors shaking—hello, 'Babalica'! The man is on a roll, and his latest offering lands on none other than Sacha Robotti's Sloth Acid, an LA label that's as much about the groove as it is about the threads.

Danner (US) has been flipping the script in the scene, leaving a trail of deep grooves and melodic mayhem on labels like Desert Hearts and Rawthentic. The guy's got a knack for drilling down into the soul of tech house, and 'Babalica' puts that talent front and center. 

This track is pure dancefloor artillery. Imagine a bassline so chunky it feels like it's got its own zip code. The drums have a tribal flair that's all about those warehouse vibes. Warped synths bounce around like they're in a pinball machine, and that fragmented vocal loop? Primeval energy that’ll make you feel like you’re in a Brooklyn basement.

'Babalica' hits the scene on October 10, 2025. If you're not pre-ordering it by the time you finish reading this, what are you even doing? Danner (US) has already hit the top of the Beatport charts with releases on Jack City, and he's a regular feature in sets from Solardo, Detlef, and Sosa. This track's got 'peak-time groove' written all over it.

Coming back local for the next instalment of the mix series, we welcome dj netburner - an extended member of the Neurocrank family - and as exemplified perfectly by this mix, a really great DJ. This one is made for pure enjoyment; no rules, just an hour of fun and brilliant blends - making for the perfect club soundtrack.  Oh, plus it features one of her own productions...yeeeppp 😎

Neurocrank mix: dj netburner

Butter Sessions tees up a flawless duo, Naarm (Melbourne) based artists Mousse(Simon Barry) and Trevor(James Vinciguerra) for a split 7" release with a screen-printed sleeve. Both artists add the release to their highly-regarded archives. On the A-Side, Mousse submits Northstar. This is his second contribution to Butter Sessions; a robust follow up to his funky explorations showcased on the Bungalow Classics12". On the flipside, Trevor follows up his 2019Becoming a Bed LP(Alter)with the astute Darron.


As one can expect, Mousse's Northstar is soaked in infectious house sequencing and sci-fi hypnobeat, while laced with dialogue extracted from the 1986 anime film Fist of the Northstar. The B-Side track Darron sees visual artist Trevor jumping from his contribution to the record sleeve into the record itself. The piece emits glitchy electro bound in coarse breaks but with just the right amount of room to breathe. As two punchy aligned compositions, this split release introduces a powerful pairing.

Brekstacy - The Light At The End...?

Today we mark our 10th Rotations Round (the sun), and we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than with a mix from our first interstate guest, one of the bright minds behind the @neurocrankk parties in Naarm/Melb, Allure (aka Chris @allurein). After being blown away by Chris' mixes, it was clear to us that he's an incredible DJ with an ear for the most interesting sounds. For this mix, Chris has gifted us an absolutely epic, near two hour trip to the outer-realms and back again. He weaves through dreamy Italo-Disco, psychedelic downtempo, goa trance, and IDM - and even features some unreleased material from the other Neurocrank guys! Strap in for a hell of a ride <3
