Currently based in London but with strong ties to Leeds and Manchester, MI-EL has also been producing and curating some of our favourite online content with Late Night Shopper. In her GAB guest mix, MI-EL provides an hour of increasingly experimental blends traversing from dancehall-influenced, percussive minimalism towards a more bass-heavy and breaky middle ground. A sudden half-time breakdown with some afro-beat and grime steppers transforms into a doubled-up jungle ending. It’s safe to say that MI-EL’s versatility cannot be understated with selections that refuse to be confined to a single genre or style. We're very excited to see MI-EL's continued growth through 2021 and mentally preparing ourselves for the carnage of her club sets!
