Area 51 LIVE at the Waerdse Tempel

Area 51 started out with the breakup of the band named "The Enforcers". Three musicians from that band, Jaap, Jelle & Jelmer wanted to go on together and searched for more members for their group.
In the fourth year of secondary school they met Mick, who became the other guitar player of the band.

A few days later, a teacher of our school asked us if we could play a show in the Waerdse Tempel because of the school's 100th anniversary.
For that show, we rehearsed only one time. (that's how we roll)

A few months later, on Jaap's birthday, we played some songs and a couple of jams. We invited a girl to sing a song, and that's how we met the singer of the group, Mellaney.

That's kinda how it all began.

We're a band with different kinds of musicians. We play mostly rock with fallouts to the harder and the softer side of it.
