The music artist and digital designer from Bangkok, @rab_neba, is presenting an album "(A)Iphoria".
The sound is a mix of electronica, ambient, vaporwave, and dungeon synth, crafted over 2.5 years. The album features futuristic landscapes that weave nostalgia and a mysterious dungeon atmosphere.

Rab Neba has been active in the electronic underground scene since the release of his vaporwave album "チュニック - tunic EP" in 2012 and has also co-founded bands like Goodbye Porsche (shoegaze, ambient trap, established in 2014) and Tomb de Narcisse (post-punk).

Created in collaboration during the spring of 2023, the Voices EP is the debut work of eolet and gassenengel, and the first EP in the Beatriz label catalog. The recording was born in a series of spontaneous reflections and refractions, in a free exchange of contemplations, impressions and emotions embodied in ambient, electronic sounds and experimental sketches. An important sign is that the authors met through the guidance of Beatriz creative magic and are inspired by the impulse of her energy to this day.

"“You hear voices, they are everywhere. Long enough, you listen to the soundscape around you, and you feel a growing desire to speak. After overcoming all the obstacles within yourself and forgetting for a while about the eternal drone flowing around, you break your silence. The silence, which always contains the possibility of sound, is suddenly filled with its presence, and you hear your voice, but you don't recognize it. Barely separated from you, the shimmering stream, divided into unfamiliar timbres, traveling through too dense or too thin air, suddenly resonates with other objects or fades away as well. What is said no longer belongs to you and reaches the other insofar as he sees his own reflection in it. The one who speaks disappears in the produced utterance, but the listener reassembles it and is also transformed by it. The agency of sound reunites the speaker, the utterance and the listener, a cutting off of one stream and the beginning of a new one. And finally, when the vision dissolves, you hear voices again, you invent language again and learn to speak, and the story begins again.”

A clock on the wall is ticking…backward. Synthesizer music is a Time Machine, taking you back to 1962, at the Hotel Booker T. Washington in San Francisco with your date, Louise.  You are having drinks while listening to Paul Desmond play his jazz saxophone. Louise thinks the music is very cool. Then the Ghost Girls appear inside the cafe, singing as an ethereal choir of the dead from 2024, while Louise lights a cigarette in 1962.
