Greek mythology often speaks of a God whose name was spoken in hallowed whispers of esteem nobility and respect. This God was Ares; best known for thriving and more so excelling in the heat of battle. Without anxiety or concern Ares marched forward against the winds of oppression, fear and failure with a rage and intensity that none could equal. The traits of this Greek God have been breed and infused into MC and Lyricist who has earned his title as Ares. 
Ares was born in New York but has spent much of his life in Norfolk and Newport News, Virginia. The early life of Ares crafted and created the man he is today; strong, fearless and unyielding in his pursuit to dominate and reign supreme over all he sets his sights upon.  These qualities came to Ares while he was living in Norfolk, Virginia. Far from Beverly Hills - Ares was primarily raised Norfolk,Va. where gang violence and shootings are a common thing. Ares did his best to maintain his freedom and sanity while living in the Common Wealth of Virginia but when his brother was shot it put in his own life into perspective. 
Ares knows that he has a talent. His ability to create and portray life with words has crafted him into a lyricist without limitations or borders. He feels as though he can create music forever; now matter his age or situation. A battle tested freestyle MC Ares knows that it is not all about battling but rather constructing a single album of collective thoughts that at times can mirror and portray the pain and frustration of life but can still tell of the struggle and success of overcoming obstacles that are present in life.   
Knowing that there are so many artists who try and separate themselves from the preverbal pack and that originality in music at times does not always seem original Ares has dedicated himself to creating timeless classical hip-hop music that can transcend generations.  He is constantly proving that hip-hop is alive and well by refining the elements of his music. He was influenced by legends such as Tupac Shakur who shared the same versatility and eloquence as himself. His other influences were Slick Rick, Biggie Smalls, Eminem and Rakim whom he believes felt their words were the expression they needed to say how they really felt and demanded that it was respected. 
Having worked with some of the best up and coming producers in the music industry such as M.A.C. MOTTO, D’BOI, CHUCK BEATS, GODMAMI, NYQUIL, STRIK BIZ,  & M.A.  and Ares is currently working on a multi-disk album that can only be described as an encyclopedia of musical genius. Titled “Inside the Walls of Asylum 13” Ares invites you to become one with the inner workings of his mind and all that he sees. Alongside with Ares stand his family and crew Street Army. 
The journey to new and unreached heights has never been known to be easy. It is a treacherous endeavor to those who are not truly committed. While too many artist have fallen by the wayside when confronted with real life and or industry problems Ares marched forward without hesitation or worry.  His talent becomes more visible with every track and as his fan base increases he continues to perform and tour. The arrival of Ares has been marked – prepare yourself for the future of hip-hop.
