Argonika's Playlist

The opening track from the Dagon's Dream Project. It was created from a collection of musical phrases that can be combined in different ways. Versions of Dragon's Dream have been performed live a mixed quartet, a cello orchestra (for Oxfam/Oxjam Festival) and I occasionally play it solo on guitar with loop pedals as part of my live set.  I will be revisiting this project soon.

Tracing Spaces was a Workshop Event at the Research Focus Day, The University of Worcester: 'A Place, A Space' May 2012.

Tracing Spaces is a digital arts project that is triggered by people's movements around a space. It explores notions of perceived freedom of space and time. It is a non linear narrative and as more people participate the art builds in complexity. Similarly the art changes and diminishes as less people interact.

Argonika is a studio project, an amalgamation of dark electro, trip-hop and downtempo music. Their debut album, Rainbow Hunter, was released in 2005.

Band members:
Helga Eriksson* — vocals, composition, keyboards, synths. 
Yuri Khonelidze — arrangement, keyboards, synths, mixing, mastering

The project was started in January 2001 by a female vocalist and songwriter, Helga Eriksson*, and a male synths player/sound producer, Yuri Khonelidze.

Helga and Yuri developed their music ideas during online music collaboration that took place on one of Rocket Network studio servers. Their collaboration resulted in recording Argonika's debut album, "Rainbow Hunter", which was released in 2005.

*Helga Eriksson is a pseudo name of Elena Stepanova, Russian musician and composer specializing in electronic and experimental music.
