His music style ranges from vintage Italo, proto-house, and Chicago acid house as well as techno and electro. This variety and his experience of 25 years as a DJ makes him an expert in the game. Originally he's from Texas in he US where he made his first steps in the scene by hosting events and playing alongside some stunning artists. Now, he's working in a record shop in Wiesbaden where one of our members met him.

The Argus Effect is Hill cardwell in Wiesbaden germany, As a DJ Focusing on vintage Italo, proto-house, and Chicago acid house as well as techno and electro, A wide variety but pulling from 25 years of DJing and 30 years of dance scene involvement.  As a Dj in Texas I helped host and play along some of the most amazing Dj's and electronic talents to come through Texas. Including The Egyptian Lover, Machinedrum, Tim Sweeney, Holger Zilske( Smash T.V.), Legowelt, Orgue Electronique, Plastic Sleeves, the Disco Nihilist, and many more. 

In January 2010 I relocated to Bielefeld,Germany. My going away party was a collection of some of the finest electronic minds in Texas, with such amazing talents under one roof including live performances by Plastic Sleeves, Brooks Mosher, Convextion/E.R.P. With other great minds in attendance as well such as Submersible Machines, BetDat, AUTO / ∆ T,and the spirit of the Disco Nihilst. These artists released on many labels across the world including Running Back records, Construction Paper, Steffi's Dolly imprint, Lunar Disco, and Bleep 43. I am Currently still representing Texas in the Rhein area. Collected her are my soundscapes for the far future.

I am slowly learning German and trying to make a new life in a wonderful and new land..As well as acting as a emissary and liason for my friend Daetron Vargas' record label back home, I am currently handling European Distro, A&R, and promotions as well as a DJ /Performer for Construction Paper Records..
