It has been a long time since we last released a compilation – our previous one was back in 2020. For the 100th release of our label, we felt it was the perfect occasion to celebrate in great company! We invited many musicians who have collaborated with Dronarivm in the past to create joint tracks with an artist of their choice. The result is 24 uniquely diverse tracks that showcase the vast musical spectrum of the genre we generally call "Ambient."

We are proud to present Illuminations III, a compilation created as a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who has supported us over the years. This includes musicians, listeners, visual artists, photographers, designers, podcasters, reviewers, and everyone who has helped us grow and move forward.

Illuminations III features over two hours of outstanding music from leading ambient producers, and just like any true gift, it's completely free to download. Of course, if you wish, you can contribute any amount you find appropriate. All proceeds will go toward supporting and further developing our projects.

For those who prefer a physical format, the album is also available as a print-on-demand double CDr.

Dark ambient and experimental music from Hannover, Germany.

When I first listened to electronic music in the 70ies (Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno), i was immediately fascinated by synthesizers and what one can do with them. But I never played one until... I started to experiment with synthesizers in 2011.

My tracks have intentionally no names - so it is open to the listener to imagine titles for them. May i change that in the future? Maybe... Their style is mostly (dark) ambient - soundscapes, drones and weird sounds...

Good ambient triggers a movie in the listener's mind - hope, that my music does so...
