Argel Cota, known artistically as ‘Arhkota’ Currently he is living in Los Angeles, CA. Arhkota is one of the most vibrant and versatile drummers in the alternative scene in Southern California and has gained respect in many parts of Latin America and Europe. In the last 20 years, Arhkota has collaborated in more than 70 projects as a session drummer for studio recordings and live shows. Nowadays, Arhkota continues to be a sought-after musician for live and in-studio recordings, due to his ability to quickly adapt to all musical styles, his amazing fat sounds, and natural talent for improvisation.

* 2021 Currently Arhkota is focused on his solo career. He just finished recording his second solo album called “Dreamy Hamilton”, produced entirely by him.
The album is available sence May 07-2021. by the Avant-Garde record label “Static Discos” and “The Orchard Music”. The album featured the amazing singer ‘Lubna Maher ‘ guest singer of “Tricky”( best known as one of pioneers of Trip Hop and founding member of Massive Attack). 

The album was mastered in Reso Mastering and mixed by Joshia Mazzaschi(the cave), Ruben Tamayo (Facsimile Sound),Alex Bajos(Stereo-Type Recordings),Victor Salinas and Dream Comet in Los Angeles,California.
