Holy Island, an island off of the coast of North Wales is where Dez Williams begun spinning wax at an early age and now maintains his humble analogue / digital studio. Isolated from the marketing, fashion and pretentious attitudes that plague the music industry, Dez is free to express himself through his machines. 

Safe from this environment he is unconstrained and has no urge to conform with any ideal or aesthetic and thus his electronic music is pure self expression. A window into his soul. His day job at an electronic components factory means that he is no stranger to repetition, rhythm and electronics. 

His sound is perhaps a product of his daily grind with boredom, escapism, events in his life and a long term passion for technology, horror and science fiction. Inspired by many of the classic Chicago / Detroit / Electro / Techno producers, like the finest, his sound is unique, uncompromising and unpredictable. His vision of Techno is deep and futuristic with a heavy dose of Funk. 

Dez's passion for sound and the darker side of the human spirit compels him to create tracks on an almost daily basis and  he sits on an incredibly vast archive of cassettes, mini-discs and CD's of his work. Yet his reclusive nature dictates that his release schedule remains sparse. His tracks can range from driving Techno, to melancholy and dark synthesizer orchestrations, ghostly deep listening, straight up Electro cuts and beyond. Sometimes simple, sometimes complex, within his sounds are vast amounts of detail for the listener to decipher. Emotions transmitted through mathematics and code. 

Williams' tracks have found their way into the sets of DJ's like Dave Clarke, Andrea Parker, Adam X, John Peel, Ellen Allien, Mike Dred, Rob Hall and many more.

He has constantly retained an underground / cult fanbase. His debut LP 'Elektronik Religion' for the SCSI label was hailed as "One of the very few truly great Electro albums of the new century". Dez remains true to the underground and simply creates for the love and need to do so. The mark of a true artist. 

He continues to DJ and play live sets worldwide and has had releases on a variety of record labels including  Bedouin, Earwiggle, Trust, Minimal Soul, Warmdata, Acruacree, Ai, Cheap, SCSI-AV, Blase, Voodoo, and Ben Sims' Native imprint.

Human Rebellion is a project based on a vision of a dystopian world where humans are in resistance against a global empire that has taken control. Founded in 2017 off the back of a notorious party flat that resulted in residents reporting it to the local newspaper, with headlines around Dundee reading "HILLTOWN DISCO PARTY ANGER".

This evolved into a collective, parties, and the record label we are familiar with today. The aim of the label was to showcase he talent in the close friend group and beyond.

Over the 5 years, the label has released with artists such as Ole Mic Odd, PRZ, Violet, Dexorcist, Chris Moss Acid, Robyrt Hecht, W1b0 on both vinyl and digital. 

HD works closely with mental-health project, Art Angel, raising funds and awareness for the mental health project through their angel series releases. 

Future music on our 5 year anniversary record featuring w1b0, larionov & St. Theodore, ole mic odd, Robyrt Hecht, and PRZ, due end of 2022

Our next release is in August featuring Jauzas The Shining, CYRK, Alonzo, Isolated Material, and Rogue Filter.

Hello everyone ! We are back from summer holidays with a special guest mix by Robert Heise aka The Exaltics ! For over 20 years by now Robert is a part of the electronic music scene. He founded the project The Exaltics in 2006 as well as the electro/ techno label SolarOneMusic with his long term friend Nico Jagiella. Since then he published countless 12"s and several LP's with labels like Clone, Crème Organization, Bunker or his own label Solar One Music and worked during that time with outstanding artists like Drexciya´s Gerald Donald, Helena Hauff or ERP for example. He turned his deep cinematic and most of all charismatic electro into his own trademark. Another signature are his special dark driven Acid Techno. During his intense live performances Robert present his unique version of electro and acid music. So, we are very pleased and happy to share The Exaltics guest mix. Enjoy !

Bio:
GAMADON (aka GAvin MAc DONagh) started buying records and DJing in Dublin in 1996. He is a vinyl only DJ and record collector - Irish, currently based in London.
• He runs Warehouse Manifesto Records, having released two records in 2022:�- WMR001 is a limited edition picture disc featuring electro tracks released in digital format only previously on Bass Agenda Recordings�- WMR002 is also a picture disc with original material from Human Rebellion - the Inverted Universe ep.
• He curates the Warehouse Manifesto mix series which he started in 2021. Some of his guests to date include Umwelt, Ben Sims, Claude Young, Joey Beltram, Jensen Interceptor, Sync 24 and Alienata.
• Most notably, he supported The Prodigy, on their European tour in cities such as Berlin, Hanover, Prague and Luxembourg in 2015-2016.

London based Dj/Producer EKATA is self-described as genre and sound obsessive. She has built a reputation as a huge advocate for Electro and a creator of a dark and warped experience. Her sound best personifies ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections and the journey she takes you on. 


EKATA has just announced her debut release on 'planet destroyed' - a VA by AVOIDANT, the Electro sister label of Soma records due for release on the 5th of Dec 2022.

Other artists featured on the same VA are long standing top tier artists such as Marcel dettman, Slam, terrestrial Access Network + many more. 


EKATA has also just recently been selected along with a couple of other artists as one of the new faces of the biggest music institution in the world - TRESOR in Berlin, which saw her play in the prestigious cage in September 2022. 

Aswell as many gigs in Berlin this year, she has just joined leiden agency in France so has an exciting 2023 in the pipeline.


You can catch EKATA this Friday the 2nd on HöR in Berlin for the Avoidant showcase with Slam djs and Ngoni. Then in the evening she's closing crack bellmer for fan fiction.

For November we have the incredible mechanoreceptor (Wiremu Hohaia) who is a Brisbane/Meanjin-based producer from Tauranga, New Zealand. Wiremu builds upon a semi-fictional narrative overlapping  sensory neuroscience and the sentiments of natural beauty to explore a hyper-dimensional world whose inhabitant reprograms the myriad of dynamically rich physical properties. 

Also, something worth mentioning, their debut EP is set for release on crazed behaviour so keep an eye on this very talented producer.

Electronic music project born in 2010 in Rubi (Barcelona).
Created by Rafael M. Espinosa as only member and creator also of the Industrial Music project Geistform.
Univac bases his proposal on analogic sounds, rhythms,  and sequences. Located in electro scene, follows the direction of called “Hague sound” and “robot electro”.  In 2011 debuts with first EP “Radiation” on the legendary label Bunker records (Holland).

In 2016 Univac sign for 30D Records to release an EP where a Der Zyklus remix is included. In this EP Univac show his recognizable sound between Drexciya and the pure analog synth waves creating a direct and amazing elektro sound.
