Symbiotic is a series of live generative music performances and recordings created in collaboration with plants. An excerpt of an infinite piece created by mapping the ages and diameters of craters on the moon into a melodic phrase. You’ll also hear field recordings of ocean waves moving between high and low tides. The entire piece is embedded within infinitely evolving layers of generative ambient music. Once installed the work will evolve infinitely incorporating phases of the moon, tide levels, and the generative algorithm I created.
