Who am I?

This song means so much to me. I can not begin to describe how carelessly the world can be with your heart. I have always been open, honest, loving, caring. This was reminder to never loose that. No matter what happens, I’m stick, I’m bones, I’m real. It’s an ode to strength really. Willpower and joy too. Hesitated posting this bc it’s so special and I want to do justice do this track with a professional release. But here’s a rough draft for now.

This song is about not wanting to commit to a person, not wanting to fall in love with a person, or give a person a chance because you've been hurt in the past. It's about guarding yourself and keeping walls up to keep yourself protected, and as a result, missing out on something that could be beautiful. 

The second verse kinda hints at being dependent on the other person too. I've found that a lot of the time, when I do let myself get involved with a person, I become attached and use them as a crutch for my happiness. This song speaks to the fact that I don't want to find myself in another person again. Basically, I'm not ready for love.
