Relaxing Sounds, Medley Colors 
Ariel sat down at his friend’s electric piano and tuned the stereo effect to induce relaxation by tricking the two brain hemispheres into ‘thinking’ there are two distinct signals (the delay between both sides). That’s what some Tibetan monks call “keeping the monkey mind busy” so the mind can relax…
Ariel then went on a journey to record variations on a simple theme to create a longer composition on which he could add other instruments. First published on cassette in Germany, this is a remix of original analog tapes recently digitalised and remastered in 24bit.
Rhodes electric piano recorded in Montreal, Canada, 1983. Flutes, soprano saxophone, and other instruments recorded on a 4 track Otari ‘ET’ model in Hamburg, Germany, 1984.
