Growing up around Kaiserslautern (Germany) will definitely have an impact on you when it comes to music. At an early age, the influences from American Military bases brought him closer to the culture, in particular Hip-Hop. Aside from Rap and R&B, his choice in music has become even more diverse, discovering genres such as House Music, Baile Funk, Trap and Afrobeat. Overtime, DJ Kasir started hosting a German Radio Station, Unser Ding, sharing his current and all-time favorite tunes. Over the years, his ambition and dedication as a DJ and Turntablist has led him into the world of music production. Releasing edits on common streaming services on a regular basis, he found a new way of expression and being creative

Amal, known as Emelle, is a DJ, music curator, and event producer based out of Oakland, California. With music at the center of her work and creations, Emelle’s multifaceted sound, inspired by her Egyptian roots and the diversity of her lifelong home the Bay Area, holds no genre boundary. From R&B to future beats, soul to world, house to hip-hop, and everything in between - Emelle’s work holds a common thread of building feeling, connection, and community.

Emelle’s distinct musical repertoire has brought her into spaces encompassing all kinds of genres - working with and alongside artists like Teedra Moses, Cam’ron, Coco and Breezy, Nina Sky, Maliibu Miitch, Mark de Clive-Lowe, and Jon B. She’s also graced stages at prominent music events such as No Nazar, Les Play House, Motown on Mondays, Soulovely, Sazon Libre, Cuffin’ All Thangs R&B, and Love Supreme. Emelle is also the mind behind 'Butter', a dance party based in Oakland, California, an active member of the artist collective, Morevibes, and holds a monthly residency with Fault Radio called 'Emelle's World'.

Emelle continues to leave her mark through music and her skill and centering of connection through sound.
