Born on Kartini's Day, Arini started her first music lesson at the age of 4 at Kursus Musik Anak Yamaha.  After 6 years, she continued her music lesson by learning the drums for one year.  In 2000, Arini followed her father’s advice to learn Cello at Sekolah Musik Indonesian Youth Orchestra.  In her 3 years of study, she was taught by several cello teachers namely Sulistyo Rini, Haryo Suyoto, and Syamsul Rizal Ikhwan.  Then she enrolled at Jakarta Conservatory of Music under the guidance of Asep Hidayat and Haryo Suyoto.  She was the principle cellist for the National Youth Orchestra Indonesia in 2003 - 2005 with conductor Iswargia R Sudarno.  After 6 years playing the cello in numbers of well-known orchestra in Indonesia, in 2007 Arini joined the The Daya Orchestra and this motivated her to enroll as a student at IMDI.  

Tjut Nyak Deviana Daudsjah convinced her to study the contrabass as her major instrument.  Then Arini enrolled at IMDI taking the Certification Program.  She continued her study to pursue the Bachelor Degree and finally graduated in 2011.  She continued her study in pursuing the Master's Degree majoring in Music Arrangement & Orchestration and graduated on 2012. She is currently one of the Music Director of MusiCater, an active session player & recording artist, Cellist in Chroma String Quartet and plays the Contrabass in Éclairs band.
