After a brief hiatus the incredible Marc Renton is back to present us with more of his musical gifts. Escape Velocity begins the EP, a clever mix of dark and light elements that weave back and forth, held together with a never ending conveyor belt of breakbeats. Stargate Outer Station changes the vibe and starts with relaxed tones and a light scattering of serene melodies before the breaks and pads fade in to create an ever evolving palette of sounds. Next up is a beautiful interlude; a relaxing trip through hypnotic keys, bassy melodics and bewitching strings. This incredible new EP ends with venv, where the yin and yang that Omni Music love so much is on full display as sci-fi keys combine with soulful melodies and a rolling futuristic beat to create something quite distinct, showing his creativity and demonstrating why he is one of Omni Music's favourite artists.
