In this piece named Spectra, I used a Virtual Studio
Technology (VST) plug-in (bias FX) and iZotope Ozone9
Equalizer to record bass and electric guitars. I recorded the
drums ( Alesis DM10 STUDIO MESH KIT), used a midi cable
that was connected to an AKAI EIE PRO Sound card which
was plugged into a VST: Addictive drum2, After recording the
drums, I considered part of it as a loop for the piece. I also
used Kontakt VST for wind instruments(Trumpet-flute), cello,
and NEXUS VST for piano. In my composition, I consider for
this sounds playing with (U-CONTROL UMX490
BEHRINGER midi keyboard), which I played myself as well
as the other instrument.

Spectra

In this work, I used chimes to create added resonance and
the sound of TOMBAK external body wooden parts, by
scratching harmonically (it can be seen on the uploaded
video) with the Dynamic microphone(SuperluxHO-8), in
combination with a percussion instrument (Virtual Studio
Technology, VST, Omnisphere in Ableton Live10 Suite 2019)
creates a harmonious atmosphere. I have used sampling
techniques for Chimes and TOMBAK external body wooden parts. And I used a classical guitar with the addition of Audio
effects like Reverb, a plug-in feature in Ableton Live 10 Suite,
in this work.

HEALING

To make this work, I used Arturia Modular V3-1 Software
Synthesizer plug-in modeled (AbeltonLive 10 Suite
version2019 platform) replacing the original physical Moog
modular system to create electronic sound. After recording
the sound of acoustic instruments and writing lines related to
the Virtual modular synthesizer with the Compact Ableton
Live controller (AKAI-APC mini), I also used a Dynamic
microphone(SuperluxHO-8) for recording TOMBAK and
SANTOUR (dulcimer), as presented in the video. To create
the sound of soprano I used Omnisphere VST in Ableton
Live. And finally, after recording all the lines, I used the
iZotope Ozone machine for mastering the Song piece.

Whirling Dance

n this work (EA3), I used two "highest quality materials" as sound sources (NEXUSMOOG-VOYAGER-BS-SQ2) and " XPMOOG_VOYEGER-BS-FIT". I tried to choose rich
and distinctive sources. I recorded the sound sources for 2 seconds. After applying
techniques such as flanger, chorus, panning, overdrive, transposing, transient, split the
part of clips, removing some other parts, and duplicating (Copy/Paste) the clips were
changed in lengths for 8 seconds.
At the next step, one of these collected clips was imported into a DAW session. I used a
frequency shifter for the same clip in another track. After applying Reverb and distortion
for some parts, again these new parts were used as new clips for 20 seconds and were
saved in a subfolder.
Finally in a Sonic Canvas in the recording session of the software "Ableton", these two
clips were imported with the usage of the same techniques and merged in 10 tracks. After
sorting and repeating some parts I have explored a one-minute and 2 seconds piece.
