Bio:
My desire for electronic music started to evolve during my life in Berlin. I ended up loving and listening mostly to Melodic Techno, Minimal, Tech House and Techno. That taste didn't change until today. The deep and groovy basslines in combination with emotional lyrics still give me goosebumps. In 2017 I decided to create a DJ career. After a few months of self teaching, I could celebrate my first gig in a berlin night club, which evolved into several afterwards. In 2019 I had the chance to travel a few months through South East Asia, which had a huge impact on me. I played some shows in 3 different countries which includes Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. I deepened my music taste even more and met inspiring people who motivated me to take a step forward. Nowadays I started to produce my own music. I released music on different labels and put a lot of effort into the online market. I host a podcast show, which launched very successfully with DJs from around the world. Therefore I met a lot of great people in the electronic music scene and played for numerous Podcast shows as well. Everytime when I play music I like to take the listeners on a journey through sounds and emotions and give the audience the best possible experience.

I always found it challenging to record a studio podcast: my analytical mind is trying to calculate every move, evaluate each transition & criticize the selection. I have time, music & equipment at my disposal, but one key element is missing to really tell a story: humans.

I encountered that problem last weekend. Although I was playing music I enjoy, I felt that my technically structured mix was too stiff and impersonal.

Then, some of my favourite humans turned up at the studio. As Ashley, Apolline, Axel & Robin entered the room, the studio was suddenly filled with a great energy & I felt like pressing the rec button again, just for fun - this is when the first minutes of  S y m b i o s e  were captured.

I feel this studio mix is an authentic representation of the energy levels I like to navigate through during a longer set. It features some of my favourite tracks in a nod to the past but also has a touch of the future; new sounds that are moving me forward & some of my new compositions.

I’m happy to share this mix as I’m taking off for Argentina, what marks my first adventure of the decade. This music session brought me clarity, presence & joy! I hope you'll resonate with it.

With all the negativity surrounding the state of the world, most of us turn to music for comfort.  I tried to get take advantage of this time alone at home to work on spreading the music I love, but I'd be lying if I said it was easy to get inspired. I take comfort in knowing I'm not the only one.... I tried and I tried to make a new LOST mix that somehow related to being Quarantined, but I came up empty handed. Luckily for me, I have some artistic friends from around the world!  

Pleasse welcome a fellow downtempo music lover, Wolfke, to the LOST family. Wolfke is a dj from Germany, who has been an avid supporter of my music since the beginning. For that I thank you :) I hope you all enjoy his guest mix! 

"At this moment a virus has completely changed the way we interact, communicate and connect with one another. It's also changed the way we listen to music. There's never been a time with more productions, because creative musicians all over the world use the quarantine to release their work with the help of the internet.

For me something was missing amidst the rush of livestreams, productions and mixtapes! A lot of sets and mixes out there were made to distract from the dreadful topic Corona. After hearing Bill Gates' TED-talk I knew I had to alter his voice and use in a set to confront the audience with Covid-19. Meeting a problem head on makes you think about solutions and will make some people optimistic. What can YOU do to make this world a better place for everyone?" -Wolfke
