Hailing from a rich musical heritage in South Africa,DJ & Producer Fraser Jones seamlessly intertwines traditional African rhythms and lyrics with a melodic touch. Drawing inspiration from luminaries in his homeland such as Black Coffee, Kasango, and Caiiro, as well as finding motivation in Brazilian music from artists like Maz and Antdot. 

Fraser, at the age of 23, has already collaborated with remarkable talents like Pippi Ciez, Tabia, Lizwi, Fine and Iddz Aziz.

Fraser envisions continuing to learn from his musical idols as he navigates his ever-expanding career. His ultimate dream is to elevate African music to global prominence. The mix includes one of his unreleased tracks, 'Twende Ft. Iddz - Fraser Jones,' where 'Twende' translates to 'let's go' in Swahili." I loved this gig so much, even though it was over before I knew it. Playing to an 8000 crowd required a slightly heavier hand in choosing tracks than normally but it was a rock n roll experience that reminded me once again what all those 1000s of hours of learning, practicing, despairing, hoping, struggling were good for - to get the opportunity to connect people with each other and feel the love. It's good, important work.
