The uplifting 'Rote Nacht' (A1) reveals the contrasting energy between the tumultuous city and the silent mountain, before gently giving way to the feelings of the exotic seascape in 'Essaouira' (A2). Delicately, yet suprising as ever, Acid Pauli rearranges the warm drums in 'Essaouira' (B1) to let your spirit rest in an imagined, green oasis, before it’s completely taken away by the lightness of the seabirds in 'Taghazout' (B2).

PRIMAL

Primal is an Icelandic electronic music producer and Dj based in Copenhagen.
The past few years, Primal has been involved with an electronic music project by the name of Kúra, featuring the Icelandic singer Fanney Osk.

Kúra, which became a widely recognized electronic act in northern Europe, offered an opportunity to explore new areas, ideas and genres. 
He eventually got introduced to the underground techno society by Just This crew.

Primal was then inspired to evolve his soundscape in new directions, resulting in a previously unexplored, darker universe with hypnotizing melancholic rhythms and heavy bass-lines.
The man behind Primal, Brynjar Bjarnfoss, was born in Reykjavík, Iceland where spent his early childhood years.

Since moving to Copenhagen at an early age, the music was always on the agenda. As a young adult he quickly got recognition in the Copenhagen underground electronic scene. He rapidly became a re-occurring act at various well renowned events, such as; Roskilde Festival, Distortion, Stella Polaris, STRØM and numerous clubs across Europe. He is currently featured as a newly implemented act of the Milano based Just This movement, and has recently cofounded the Just This record label.

Fresh and exclusive from Butch's Watergate mix is a massive cut with his partner in crime, Hohberg titled The Spirit. Add a remix from the Swiss duo Adriatique and a tune from Butch flying solo and you have "Songs About Unconsciousness".

With "The Spirit", Butch and Hohberg create a vivid and euphoric tour of emotions with a hypnotic looping lead, lush pads and a pulsating, relentless groove. It's a serious burner that makes you want to close your eyes and get lost in another world. 

In a perfect contrast yet staying true to the original, Adriatique deliver a stunning remix. Their take is a deeper, more melodic vibe, ripe with warm sub bass and rich organic drums perfect for a late night or early morning excursions.

To round up the EP is Shahrzād. It's an acid trip laced with spaced out washes of Arabian winds, voices from a dream and infectious loops of percussion. In all "Songs About Unconsciousness" is a beautifully crafted bundle from the master of dance floor psychedelia, Butch.

Anru is a Russian producer of electronic music. He began composing in the middle of 2000s after the impression of the early Tiesto's "sunrise" mixes. Ambience and beauty, non-minimalism and complexity, hardness and deepness – all these things he prefers in music and tries to actualize them inside his tracks and mixes. Mostly influenced by Jon Hopkins, Will Wiesenfeld, Vangelis, Justus Kohncke and Sigur Ros. At the moment Anru is a part of the StereoSchool team – Music Production School in Moscow. 
Metropolis EP is Anru's debut release on Bullfinch Records. Slow atmospheric and electronic deep along with some wide stabs and caustic sequences – everything is inside the EP. The title track and its ambient extension, Catacombs, are inspired by the images of "Metropolis" – an old anti-utopian movie (1927) about the futuristic city. Dark Far Red is full of bright stabs and powerful bass as well as swirl sound effects. Undertown is a long story starting with the light and distant sound and ending with emotive burst.

Kicking off with the first track "Lose Yourself", Vikan Arman mixes different cultural influences to an exciting and mysterious intro of the 3 track EP. Guitars rise into unknown spaces of deep bass and hidden complexity of beatstructures.
 
The second track, "Red", lead by wavy-delayed chords and soft vocals spreads the EP into a more percussional quiet way, supported by sitar and slight bass. 
 
Lastly, Maher Daniel abducts "Red", the rhythmical trip, straight back to the dark clubroots. Alternately combining the tight instrumentally base of Vikan Arman and his own terms of reference.
