Welcome back to Drift State! This weeks guest hails from Azerbaijan! Super excited to welcome K9 to the family!

K9's passion for music since childhood led him to study the violin. Along with his interest in electronics and technology, Kenan also studied the technical aspects of music. After discovering electronic music, he began to try himself in the genres of ambient, progressive house and techno. His sets were met with great interest from listeners of both local and international radio stations. Over time, k9 developed his own style of mixing music, aiming to present listeners with a unique atmosphere and theme in each set. In each set, Kenan creates a soundscape that transcends time and space, combines different emotions and draws the listener into his world.

Hanson began his journey into the world of electronic music at the age of 20, drawn to the underground scene while living in Sydney, Australia. Night after night, he immersed himself in the pulsating energy of warehouse raves, losing himself in hypnotic beats. It was during a captivating open-to-close set that he discovered a deep love for the rich, melodic world of deep and progressive house.

After moving to Toronto in 2023, he decided to transform his passion into an art form, honing his craft and curating a sound that reflects his unique musical journey.

Sense IS is a Samara electronic project by Sergey Nikishkin and Igor Smolin. Despite the fact that their duet has roots from the depths of the Trans-Volga steppes, their music is not limited to territorial borders.
