Dear friends, we would like to introduce the first part of our mix series that will feature artists from our label as well as friends from around the world.

First up, we have Thortrillion X from Norway:

"This is an attempt to answer Muimina Sounds' request to make an atmospheric compilation podcast that starts from low energy and evolves to higher. It includes several collaborations with different persons that have happened during the years.

The first track is a Norwegian folk tune, written by Tarjei Augundson (Myllarguten), in a new synth-based form. I used this track to practice fiddle during the year at Campus Rauland 22-23. The second track is a Swedish emigrant tune, of the type skillingsvise, that was printed and spread in earlier print history. It includes a song from about 30 students, and Annie Björkman's beautiful voice on top. The third track's lyrics are written and performed by Jessica Marie Antonson for the 'Alvelyst EP', released in 2022 by The Cure Collective. Track five contains a recording from a group that we had during the studies in autumn 2022, and it was one important introduction to folk music for myself. The sixth track is taken from the album 'NYE 5K' released by Muimina Sounds in 2022, where my friend Dab Dabzy is performing a lyric I wrote, which he translated to Spanish. A different perspective is a sidestory to the 'Adventures of Cul', with a philosophical theme, and Marianne Eide performs the lyric. The eighth track, 'Uppstaden', is a Norwegian folk tune performed by Gaute Søderholm, as he learned it from Anders E. Røine at Campus Rauland. Track nine has had many shapes over the years; this one is a more groovy version, the saw is jammed by Andreas Barth. Track ten is a prelude for the project Forbidden Labyrinth. Track eleven is the words of the wise Tiffany Brown, upon some synth and excellent drumming by Sam Kongslie. Track twelve is the title track from the Alvelyst EP. Track thirteen is a historical traditional dance tune from Lofoten, and includes contributions from five friends from the studies. Track fourteen is a Forbidden Labyrinth up-tempo song, with Sina Ensari performing his lyric. Track fifteen is called 'Juks', but it's a merge of several sketches in reality. Track sixteen is a track from the first Album, 'The Mental Revolution'."

It is generally recognized that the spoken word has a relatively deep power in people's minds, both positively and negatively. 

When a sick person hears words of encouragement, a new strength seems to take over his soul, giving him more optimism and security in an imminent recovery. 

That is why everyone should be very careful about everything that enters their ears and especially what comes out of their mouths. 

The word mantra means sound and where there is a vibration, there is bound to be a sound. 
So that means, the whole existence is a kind of sound, or a complex amalgamation of sounds, or the whole existence is an amalgamation of multiple mantras. 

Of these, a few mantras or a few sounds have been identified, which could be like keys. 
If you use them in a certain way, they become a key to open up a different dimension of life and experience within you. So, every mantra activates a particular kind of energy in a different part of the body. 
But without the necessary awareness, just merely repeating the sound, will only bring dullness to the mind. Any repetition of the sound always makes your mind dull. Only when it is done with proper awareness and with an exact understanding of what it is, a mantra could be a very powerful tool. 

Some of those mantras have remained until today, thanks to the Mystery Schools which have managed to keep something of that sacred language spoken by the Ancestors, in the form of divine names and mysterious words. 

That's why those same Initiates, mainly Hindus, Tibetans and Mayans, emphasize the idea that our body and soul are the result of a Cosmic Alphabet and that each phoneme vibrates in certain regions of the organism, acting therapeutically and magically on the individual. 

In other words, we are a musical instrument that should vibrate with the most tremendous cosmic melodies.

Born in London, Mark Day was surrounded by music growing up, either playing on the radio which was always on or listening to the soundtracks of video games.
During his teenage years he discovered a whole new world of electronic music, starting with trance and delving into many of the subgenres; he was in love.
After some years of searching the internet he came across the term 'psychedelic music' - the name intergued him so he decided to dig deeper which culminated in him finding an underground psytrance party in London by luck in late 2007.
After a year of going to parties he started to DJ at them and a couple more years later he started to produce his own music.
His psytrance music can be characterised by having a lot of sounds with layers of atmospheres over the top, always driving and with some psychedelic wizardry inside.
Having been lucky enough to have played his music around the world and continuing to do so, he is currently working on his debut album which will be released 'at the right moment'
He is also a listener, collector and occasional producer of downtempo music and has done various mixes throughout the years which have been mainly distributed to close friends.
Mark is also big fan of experimental psychedelic music and he will play this kind of selection in his 2 hours DJ set at Unity

Liberator project, created in India (Bangalore) for the love of Trance music in 2017. Arjun was introduced to the psytrance scene in 2006 and fell in love with the genre instantly. 

Started playing and mixing genres like Progressive, Full-on, Tribal, Downtempo & dark psy in 2017. Since then, he had played for several private parties in India limiting his presence to a very close netted community, playing mostly around private parties.

After a few years of playing progressive, fullon & other mainstream sub-genres in the year 2019 he kinda stumbled upon the experimental Darkpsy, Forest, Hitech & Psycore. This changed his line of psytrance mixes more into an experimental bass heavy, dark atmospheric, forest sounds, hypnotic, and sacred mantras involved in my DJ sets under the project named "Shunyatwa". 

Shunyatwa : An experimental project with no bpm limits, primarily focused on active meditation and mind bending sounds.

He is on a mission to deliver proper Fullpower Psychedelic Trance Dance Experience.
