Once started as an inconspicuous blog in December 2010, trndmsk is now ready to concquer the world of electronic music in the form of a newly-founded record label. After many years of discovering and browsing through countless works and musicians, with more than a handful of them hitting international music charts, trndmusik aims to release its discovered music by itself, starting from November 2014. The kick-off will be celebrated by a compilation release that thoroughly represents the platform's taste and diversity; a compilation of 20 previously unreleased gems, produced with thoughtfulness and accuracy. The 20 music producers are exceedingly linked to the online magazine, and have now gathered to form an ensemble.

Bebetta, Oliver Schories, Einmusik, Nico Pusch, Lexer and Wankelmut are some of the producers that feel connected to trndmsk. In terms of geography, the collection travels from the far North - the home of Norwegian duo Of Norway - via Arjuna Schik's Amsterdam, Stereo Express' Belgian Flanders, two vibrant electronic music metropolises - Hamburg and Berlin - to the loveliest corners of Leipzig, Dresden and Erfurt where Marc DePulse, Talul, Jonas Woehl, David Jach and Beatamines live. The journey continues in Rhineland - to be precise: in Cologne with Melokind and Fennec & Wolf - via the gloomy banking city of Frankfurt, where Rey & Kjavik contribute their seemingly dark House music, and reaches its final destination in Ben-E & Falki's Vienna.

Amsterdam based Arjuna Schiks was a regular on Manual Music in the early years of the label, with his first appearance dating back all the way to 2009. After exploring other creative adventures in most recent years, he's ready to make his comeback, already illustrated by the well received release of his single 'Homestayer' on Manual Deep recently, and now with a full 4 track EP on Manual Music!

Lucanidae EP shows his trademark melodic, melancholic sound. Shy of any clichés, Arjuna's productions always sound like the work of a creative genius. Seamlessly alternating between uplifting positive sounds and darker infectious driving cuts, each of the four tracks do have special hard to define Arjuna Schiks sauce poured all over them. It's incredibly delicious, and we're so happy Arjuna is back on track!

Arjuna Schiks returns to Manual Deep with his second single on the Dutch imprint this year, after the release of Homestayer last April.

This time he pleases the senses with Midnight Munchies, an laid back cut free of any genre limitations. Call it melodic deep house electronica or whatever label you want to slap on it, just hit that play button and enjoy this new piece of delicate brilliance by the Amsterdam based producer.

This clap is creeping directly into your legs. No choice - we got you. Second by second the voice, the baseline, the synth - everything is getting darker and bigger. With "Ada" our dutch genius Arjuna Schiks is back. Proved on dancefloors all over the world, we can say, this track won’t get out of your mind and your body. With Jonas Saalbach we have a great remixer on board, who knows how to handle dark sounds and bring them to a new and open dimension. The main melody from „Ada“ comes back wrapped in break beats.

"Muda Esprit" is filled with friendly rhythms and more power for a summer night. Beatamines developed a fresh and easy remix of this typical Schiks-production. The claps are warm and light footed, the melody is catchy and bright. The remix is more metalic and the groove gets wilder. You’ll find yourself dancing on a beach into an endless night.

Come back into the club. "Navitas" picks you up and tells you a story under soft lights, with your feet back on a cold floor of stones and your mind far away. It is a melodious trip with harder breaks and less heat. We finish with "Hyphen" as bonus - only available for those who know where to find good stuff!

Arjuna Schiks Live @ Sisyphos Summer Closing 2015

Last summer I started working on a new project called Music For Your Ears. The idea was to make (slow tempo) music to listen to on your headphones or at home but not tracks that are intended to play in the club.
The project was very learningful and inspiring and I produced it together with some great and talented (classical) musicians! 

One of my favourite tracks from the Ep is called: Oermens. It shows a darker side of me than most people are used to and im very proud of the end result.

"Waterkristallen" is a transparent and absolute haunting track from Arjuna Schiks which will be released on Einmusika Records at the end of July. It's a deep and tech influenced number with dizzying atmospheric parts and a lot of power on the other sight - it's a dancefloor-number detached from the seasons.

Arjuna Schiks was inspired by New Age, Meditation and world music, a Hippie-child from Amsterdam - that is what you can also hear in his productions "One More Day" and "My cup of tea". They are so strong and free - good vibes for your soul and precious diamonds for the clubs. Once again Einmusik is preparing the stage for a young and great producer and it is not supposed to be a short-time collab.
