Groningen-based DJ Verity Jackson has been making serious waves over the past months. From playing at radio stations like Relate Radio and Future Intel to rocking crowds at Oost and Kopjek, hard hitting tunes are a certainty. It is therefore not a suprise that she prepared another hard hitting 60 minute electro set for us, enjoy!

Playing at the Comfort Zone festival at Comfort Creek was fantastic.  There was an amazingly loved up relaxed crowd to play with, & the the sun had just come out for the first time in 3 days.

The set time was 1-2:30 so I made sure I set a vibe for the afternoon and evening with a concoction of twisted disco, euphoria & minimal lusciousness.   Playing on the third day of a festival is a lot of fun.

Thankyou Comfort Zone crew for appreciating my take on minimal.

Quite a few people have asked me for this set, & several of the tracks sparked attention, so here you are! I didn't have a recorder, so from my pre & post-set scribbles I mixed it again jumping around at home with my children.  It was a fun experience to relive (understatement.)

The endeavor was realized. Closing one chapter leads to the opening of another, heralding a fresh dawn.

Now is the time to share a recording from this exceptional night. As the third addition to our series, we've prepared a recording from this night. The first part, "The Last Play," serves as a prelude by one of us, who approached his performance as a finale at the peak. Yet, in the context of this night's unfolding revelations, we suspect this is not the end of the road.

The second part is then a two-hour exquisite trip, which is not easy to obtain. Ivan Smagghe is one of our long-standing and enduring favorites. He could guide us through the wildest phases, just as he was their absolving comforter. His distinctive sound undoubtedly moves you towards unique inner processes.

Chris has been a predominant figure in the queer dance scenes in America and in Europe over many years having represented his mainstay party, now label, Spotlight from L.A., the Club Toilet Crew from Detroit and now residing in Berlin the last couple of years where he holds down regular slots at the city's major clubbing institution Berghain / Panorama Bar (most notably the party Snax which takes place there). Chris has dug deep  and worked hard with these residencies to showcase the queer roots of house, techno, disco, and other forms of dance music.
