Swedish producer based in Gothenburg. This Swedish entity contributed to live, real and in circumstantial surroundings. Mr. Eargoggle has a huge impact on the electro scene. Grown up listening to the electro funk sound of Egyptian Lover and similar funkateers, Luke Eargoggle, aka Lukas Pettersson, now lives by the beach in Sweden where he makes music in peace. Luke maintains the record label Stilleben Records and released some of his ultra funky electro tracks through Dutch label Bunker Records, German label Kommando 6 and more.
Especially for our podcast, Luke recorded an exclusively vinyl set.

The foundations and the aim of this project are exactly the same of the 808 Box, but this time Alek Stark wanted to focus the attention on some of the artists who helped to build and develop the sound of modern Electro music. Consideration was also given the artists of present and the future of our beloved genre, Underground Electro Music.

Electric Eclectics includes 21 high-quality vinyl records, mastered and cut at 45 rpm for the best sound and dynamics. Each of the first 18 records is dedicated to one artist, the other 2 are in advance of the second part of this project next year. This is more than 3 hours. The total length of the 20 records is almost 9 hours of pure Electro music. Alek also always includes an extra record, this time Electro music master Arpanet, who will have a 7" vinyl record within the box set.

This mix is about 80 minutes but the total length of the 20 records is almost 9 hours of pure Electro music. You do not want to miss this extremely limited release.

Co-founder and Generalissimo at brainstormlab, and master General at Distant Future with well over 10 years of live gigs under his belt, JFrank is well known for his late night dancefloor breaks and has played everywhere from the arthouse to the doghouse – London warehouses and Berlin basements to Spanish squats and Roman ruins – with his special brand of space-age electronics. Along with a broad portfolio of releases, he currently has vinyl out on Pyramid Transmissions, Kaer'Uiks and The Irrational Media Society

We are happy to premiere another beauty from Cai Bojsen-Møller! This time it’s from the second installment of the ‘The Spirit of Man and Machine’ EP’ which is set to be released on February 17th.

Cai Bojsen-Møller co-founded the original Multiplex imprint and released his debut solo album ‘A Bit of Something’ on the label in 1996. Out of the circuit for fifteen years, he now returns in stunning form. This time around it’s the second installment of his ‘The Spirit of Man and Machine’ EP’s which focuses on fusing organic elements with programmed electronics to create a more dynamic and live feel to the project. Bojsen-Møller opens the flip side in the shape of ‘FaxImprov’,  embracing an enchanting and melancholic feel via airy pads, acid-tinged bass and wandering arps.

The Greek DJ and producer Rise Black has had a good season in southern Spain, which he has taken full advantage to consolidate as one of the artists to follow in the future.  In its sets and its productions, Electro is the predominant genre, but you can also hear echoes of EMB, Techno, Dark Wave and Acid;  vinyl sets that have led him to step on much of the Spanish geography and also Dutch rooms.  His productions that have come to light in digital format and also on vinyl, published from the Underground Music Xperience labels and the mythical Mustache Records of producer / showman David Vunk.  He also has time to launch his networks towards the publishing world, since he co-directs several record labels such as NNY Records, Line Explorations and Another Perspective.  Next Saturday 12 we can see him in the cabin of the Prisma room, where we can check his exquisite technique to dishes and his smell and forcefulness when selecting vinyl.
