Central Processing Unit, commonly referred to as CPU Records, is an independent British record label, founded in Sheffield in 2012 by Chris Smith, and notable for bridging contemporary electronic music with the early Sheffield Bleep era, and being at the forefront of contemporary electro music. Distributed by Kudos Records London UK. The label uses a binary catalog number system for its releases which means that it will only allow for a total of 256 releases. Many of the label's releases are mastered in Smith's Computer Club Sheffield studio. In 2019 the label launched their own studio filter module called The CPU Filter, modelled on the classic Roland Jupiter-6 filter. The label is also parent to the sub label Computer Club records which released electronic music from 2013 to 2018.

Dj, producer, musician and a visual artist, the label owner of the well respected DRONE label - Richard Fearless 
We are extremely excited to welcome and present to our followers one of the Richard’s great talents with this absolutely stunning mix he created for us.His skills, professionalism and steadiness is what has impressed us so much.
A true artist who has dedicated most of his live to create, divert  and engage through sound In the most astonishing way that only a real musician can deliver.
In this mix you will have the pleasure to enjoy a various of styles going from Electro to Techno/Acid and beyond.Something that is definitely not to be missed!

Bio:
Richard Fearless, DJ/producer/musician/visual artist’s sets are marked not one genre, but a signature sound; a commonality and cohesive narrative that runs throughout.
Fearless began as resident DJ at the Job Club in London’s Soho during the 1990s, where he’d play alongside Claude Young, Derrick May, Dave Angel and Andrew Weatherall. After a few years he was picked as a resident for the legendary Heavenly Social. He has remixed Yoko Ono, Conny Plank, the Horrors, Daniel Avery, Ike Yard, Big Youth and Tikiman. 
While Fearless’ DJ sets and his Death in Vegas output have typically fallen into different genres, over the last few years he has begun to knit the two more closely together. Since 2014, Fearless has ran his own label Drone and released tracks and remixes by the likes of Chris & Cosey, DJ Richard, Legowelt,  Silent Servant, D’Marc Cantu, Gabe Gurnsey (Factory Floor) and Rudolf Klorzieger (Dopplereffekt)
Bonding over a love of Throbbing Gristle in 2016 Fearless collaborated with Sasha Grey to release a raw, visceral techno album, Transmission to much critical acclaim and has continued to push his work in a more abstract insular direction culminating in last years 'Future Rave Memory.

Italian-born @ricocasazza moved to London at the age of 19, and spent 21 years in the UK capital, growing up exposed to the intense and charismatic electronic music scene that London is famous for. Rico's own music is characterized by a sound signature that is known to his fans for the deep, dark, and melodic nostalgic vibes, music that brings you inward. Rico has also started a YouTube channel where he is teaching music production focused on Ableton Live, software that he has mastered over 11 years of use.

She is the former co-editor of Selection Sorted TechnoPodcast, has been a guest in many-many radioshows and podcasts, she has played in many clubs and festivals of Hungary (Kontra, wndrlnd, Corvintető, Müszi, Kuplung, R33, Egál, S.U.N festival, Ozora ect...) and also abroad, like Croatia, Slovakia, Austria, Romania and France. She is currently based in Nijmegen (NL).
She is a resident dj at Open Source Radio in Nijmegen.

FRANCOIS DILLINGER debuted his hybrid live and DJ set at Propaganda for the ECU Showcase using 2xCDJs and an Elektron Analog Rytm. In between electro classics and new cuts, Dillinger layered drum rhythms as a third deck and in some cases remixed his own tracks live as well as debuting some exclusive edits and forthcoming tracks from EPs coming soon on ECU and PPRZ.
