┋Lars Neubert presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.66┋

Vor mittlerweile mehr als 14 Jahren entdeckte unser heutiger Podcastler “Lars Neubert” bereits seine große Liebe für die elektronische Musik und speziell für das klassische DJing. 
Zu dieser Zeit studierte er in der sächsischen Metropole Dresden, wo er auch seine ersten Auftritte gefeiert hatte. Seither ist er als DJ schon viel herum gekommen und durfte bereits in solch namhaften Clubs wie dem Sisyphos oder der Ritter Butzke hinter den Decks stehen.
 
Auf die ersten Bookings folgten nur wenig später auch die ersten eigenen Produktionen, welche 2006 erstmals offiziell released wurden, zu jener Zeit auf dem ehemaligen Dresdner Label “Audiomorph” (heute WBA Records), weitere Veröffentlichungen erfolgten auf so bekannten Labels wie Casual Lab, Auditive, Eclaire The Heart, Wonnemusik uvm.

Für unsere 66.Ausgabe hat sich der liebe Lars Neubert ganz besonders ins Zeug gelegt und passender Weise ein 66 minütiges Meisterwerk geschaffen, welches durch eine ganz besonders treibende und groovige Note besticht. Unsere Afterhour ist damit mindestens für den heutigen Sonntag definitiv gerettet ;)

This is my 4 hour!!! Dj-set I played during my stay at my favourite beach location CHAC MOOL (29.3.2016) in chacala / mexico, which is located in the playa nayarit region [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chacala]. If you have the chance visit this tiny and superb relaxing town. It's magic.

I enjoyed it a lot playing towards the sundown.

" Ahoy! I'm living at the baltic sea coast in germany and since my childhood i'm playing the saxophone in several live combos. But a decade ago I also fell in love with electronic music. Seaside Trip pres. to you »the untold stories of the sinking sea!« - this mixture is the eighth story in 2020 and number 130, which is told to us by https://soundcloud.com/y_e_m .

I don't even know when exactly I heard a mix from him for the first time. It must have been 3 or even 4 years ago, it was https://soundcloud.com/ldsroom 's channel and I was impressed by his Shift II mix. I lost sight of him and didn't look for him either - too many fish swim in the ocean and the captain likes to lose his leg or even one or the other artist out of sight. Well, once again I was browsing through LDS's history and heard YEM's mix sets "cruel" and "Timberland" 3 or 2 years ago and was thrilled again. I don't know exactly what it is, but YEM grabs me with the way he sets up the mix sets. Anyway, A lot of water flowed into the sea and it took another 2 years before we got together ... For many is a 4 hours set a lot of time, for others it is a short introduction to their music collection.

YEM's words for you:
I'm just a man who likes listening and collecting music in his mixes.
This time i went back in to the tunes of past few years and compilated a set of  those that are still Music to my ears. Suspect that this type of flow was considered to be called "Deep". So let us try to dive back and reminisce how it sounded. Most of the tracks should be recognizable, but since it turned out that I was the person who pressed the buttons and twisted the knobs while recording, some stylistic interference may be noticed. Hope somebody will find this journey interesting. But that's really not important as much as people's health and peaceful living around our planet.

Have you ever wondered how many subgenres there have been in our scene since 2010? 5, 10 or 20? Do you remember when there were no pure downtempo productions? It felt like an eternity looking for downpitchable songs that also fitted together stylistically, didn't it? ...
I'm a real fan of so many different subgenres of electronic music – I could listen to them all day! And every now and then, I like to mix things up and try something new. At the end, I am thrilled to say that I understand and feel 'arkadiusz' more as a music project! Especially during podcast collaborations I try something new and special. 

As a performing club DJ I am focused on two amazing directions: Slow and fast, or as I like to say: Hypnodream and Hypnodance!
