Thank you for given me the opportunity to play at your legendary Katzen birthday spectacle. I remember coming to your 40th birthday and being first time at Kater. It was the weekend where my life completely changed and ACID FLORA was born. 

Coming back each year is something in my agenda ever since. However this year it was extra special because I was given the chance to play at Acid Bogen for the 2nd time this year BUT your birthday made it even more special to me! Thank you for closing the circle of my wishes and believing in me by giving me a chance. I think everybody needs someone in their life who believes in them and gives them a chance.

You have inspired me since day one and it was love at the first hear! 

Playing this set has been my personal highlight. I've been super nervous, shaky and my hands where sweating crazy.

It's hard to put everything down in words but I hope everyone who listens to this live recording enjoys it as much as I did while playing it.

It's taken us a little while to fully process what happened on Sunday but now we've had the time to recover from the madness that is Fusion Festival (you too, we hope??) we're realising just how much this gig meant to us and how happy we are with how it all went. Thank you to everyone who was there, who waited the extra 40 minutes while we battled with some technical difficulties, who cheered, sang our lyrics (wait, what?!) and danced with us. You were so supportive and after the first couple of songs the nervousness was almost gone and we could just enjoy sharing what we love together with you all. THANK YOU! You peeps are just great. <3

So, without further ado, here's our live set on the Velvet Soup stage at Fusion on Sunday night. Unfortunately the quality of the recording isn't great (where's the bass?!?), and we actually had to re-record a couple of parts at home due to an issue with the accordion microphone picking up the sound coming from the speakers, but we tried our best to play it exactly like we did on the night and blend it in smoothly with the original recording.  We are proud and happy and we hope you like it!

We had the honor and the luck to be part of the 2nd edition of the beautiful Mystic Creatures Festival in 2024 on the wonderful island in Poland and to play at the slightly larger Stage "Creatures Corner" with a nightly Set from us. During the Set, we got wet eyes and goosebumps thanks to the amazing and so touching response from this awesome Creatures Corner-audience! What we need now - maybe more than ever - is love. Not the image of love that we often carry around in clichés, but love in its true essence, its inescapable core. We need love in a radical way that unfolds its strength precisely in its fragile vulnerability, is aware of its fallibility and is therefore committed to the process and growth. A love that places the WE and not the EGO at the center of its actions. In other words, a love that is aware of its social and political responsibility, is active and wants to shape and heal. 
Imagine a world immersed in this love, in which we use all our knowledge, our skills and our wisdom for the benefit of all and not to maximize profit.

Wild Geese - Alma Linda & The Rainbows @ GARBICZ 24

I've been listening to Essential mixes since I first started getting into clubs and electronic music, so it was a shock, and exciting for me, to get the offer to make one myself. The two hour format really allows some time to explore ideas musically as well.

So bringing everything together, I decided to try and make it an exploration of everything that has made me so obsessed with electronic music for the last 20 years, with some of my favourite records from the mid 90's, unreleased material from my favourite artists like Nils Frahm, Lusine, Tim Hecker and Rob Clouth, and a range of genres from ambient to 90 bpm electronica, house and techno, all the way up to 170bpm glitched jungle mayhem - I thought, why not have some fun with it!?

So it's certainly not a normal club mix, it's just what I think is the best music out there, without worrying about what genre or box any particular track fits into or how things should be done "properly". I wanted to leave some sections quite ambient as well, to give breathing space between the peaks, so I'm happy to be able to post this new version up, minus the broadcast talking and idents.

This is my 4 hour!!! Dj-set I played during my stay at my favourite beach location CHAC MOOL (29.3.2016) in chacala / mexico, which is located in the playa nayarit region [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chacala]. If you have the chance visit this tiny and superb relaxing town. It's magic.

I enjoyed it a lot playing towards the sundown.
