Solid Grooves unveil their 2022 'Ibiza Sampler' as Michael Bibi and PAWSA invite seven of the label's residents and regulars for a huge summer offering.

2022 is shaping up to be a year to remember for Solid Grooves as they celebrate ten years in style with a host of stand-out shows, including OFF Sonar and Kappa Futur, alongside recent appearances at Space Miami, Fabric and Printworks.

However, the crown jewel in the programming undeniably comes via their biggest Ibiza season to date. With a move to renowned institution DC10 backed by lineups stacked full of talent, the collective only adds to things on the label front as they reveal their latest summer compilation. Opening the season in style, the nine-track 'Ibiza Sampler' welcomes the arrival of a stacked V/A with fresh heat from close friends and ever-impressing regulars.

In usual fashion, co-founders Michael Bibi and PAWSA contribute a pair of heavily-requested signature cuts, alongside peak-time and after-hours anthems from residents Dennis Cruz, Eddy M, Reelow, Ramin Rezaie and Bassel Darwish, plus label signees Classmatic and JUST2.

Solid Grooves Records co-founder Michael Bibi drops a pair of infectious tracks that feature his own vocals this September.

Michael Bibi's perpetual rise over the last two years can be credited to his idiosyncratic style, as heard in his appearances on labels like VIVa MUSiC, Lost Records and Criminal Hype. Having just made his debut at fabric where Solid Grooves took over Room Two, both Bibi and his label continue to raise the bar; cementing their reputation as a driving force behind some of today's most exciting house music.

A twisted intro makes way for raw sounding percussion and rumbling bass in 'Smoke Signals' before Bibi's infectious vocals come into play. A catchy production from the off, 'Playzone' once again features Bibi's voice whilst a moody low-end, crunchy snares and various samples and effects operate throughout.

After a summer of big releases on Origins, this time label head honcho and owner, Josh Butler returns to the label with a top draw 2 track EP with Korean American DJ producer and singer SOHMI featuring on Sunday Sunset.
?The first track on the release is Get It Together. a slick house cut, with intertwined percussion and snares giving this plenty of punch and groove combining with a driving bass line and quality female vocal hook, it's fair to say that this will Get It Together in many a set this Autumn.

Track 2 Sunday Sunset see's Butler team up with SOHMI, who's released on the likes of Audiojacks Gruuv, Lubelski's Percomaniacs, Whoyostro and Astralworks. Right from the off this track has style and elegance in abundance, and combines the smooth production skills of Butler with the excellent spoken word vocals from SOHMI and is one that for sure will be getting a lot of air time during the remaining months of the year. 

This is yet another must have from Josh Butler and Origins, as the label continues to go from strength to strength.
