My name is Mark Barnett. I  am a singer/songwriter with an acoustic sound.

My music is written straight from the heart and is a reflection of my life experiences through good and bad times.

After picking up the guitar for the first time about 15 years ago when my mum passed away it gave me a focus through those bad times and as I started to learn more I wanted to tell my story through music and words.

I am now at the beginning of a new chapter as I start with my first professionally recorded song called "Star" which is approaching 8000 hits on YouTube in a few months

The track comes straight from my heart and is written about the love of my life and how she gives me the power and strength to carry on.

I have many more songs that I am ready to record and am looking forward to getting feedback (good or bad).
