As we slowly begin to pull out of this pandemic, with it we bring an end to the Pintura Radio Live series and give birth to a fresh new concept: IN THE PAINT. Each instalment will be entirely focussed on an artist and their relationship with the Pintura label, whether it be as a signed producer, a resident dj, friend, collaborator, muse or else.

The first edition of IN THE PAINT see's Pintura founder in the mix under his production guise Orella Vive. A deep, textured and lo-fi excursion into house, it also exclusively premieres one of Orella Vive's own productions "BB Gun" that will be out later this summer on Pintura Music.

IN THE PAINT #01 [Orella Vive]

Label boss Orella Vive (@orellavive) returns for the second instalment of the In The Paint series to promote his upcoming release on the label. 

The Fixation EP will be out exclusively on @traxsource for a 2-week pre release on 13/4/22. 

The package consists of 3 warm, textured deep house cuts with an unapologetic nod to the old school. Soulful and low-slung, they ooze the sonic punch of analog machines, creating a journey through groove that takes us from the warmup right through to the late night closers. Essential tracks for any deep house selector’s bag for summer 2022.

IN THE PAINT #04 [Orella Vive]

Arkhive London step out of the shadows early in 2016 after a 2015 that saw a stint on the continent, dabblings in radio and a sold out vinyl release.

The label’s sabbatical on European shores unearthed a new patch of keen producers – and for ARK005 Arkhive London unveil a special cross-channel EP from Bordeaux house outfit Tuff Wheelz. Originally a name inspired by old school bikes, the Tuff boys pass time bunking down in their French studio filled with old synthesizers and drum machines, pumping out their signature chunky house sound.

ARK005 presents two tracks from Tuff Wheelz, ‘Prophecy’ and ‘Legacy’, two main floor house groovers that tip their hat to the techno faithful.
