This was not planned. It really just happened by accident during the conceptualisation of a different project. It was probably the quickest one I ever did (60 mins tops)

This probably won't make the cut as it's not quite what I'm after thematically for the project in question (but who knows).  

I have to admit, this is one is pretty special on so many levels. Kylie, obviously known for her role of Charlene in Neighbours. Both women had the album art for their respective albums albums (Post and Impossible Princess) by photographer Stephane Sednaoui and also both dated him.

Bonnie Elizabeth Parker (October 1, 1910 – May 23, 1934) and Clyde Chestnut Barrow (March 24, 1909 – May 23, 1934) were American outlaws and robbers from the Dallas area who traveled the central United States with their gang during the Great Depression.

"Bonnie and Clyde" is a French language song written by Serge Gainsbourg, and performed by Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot. It is based on an English language poem written by Bonnie Parker herself a few weeks before she and Clyde Barrow were shot, entitled "The Trail's End". The song tells the story of the outlaw couple Bonnie and Clyde. It was released on two albums in 1968: Gainsbourg's album Initials B.B., and Gainsbourg and Bardot's album Bonnie and Clyde.

" '​Bonnie & Clyde" is a song recorded by American rapper Jay-Z featuring American R&B singer Beyoncé. It was composed by Shawn Carter, Kanye West, Prince, Tupac Shakur, Darryl Harper, Ricky Rouse and Tyrone Wrice for Jay-Z's seventh studio album The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse (2002). The song was released as the album's lead single on October 10, 2002. A East Coast hip hop and R&B song, "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" sampled its beat from American rapper Tupac Shakur's 1996 song "Me and My Girlfriend", and was inspired by the crime film Bonnie and Clyde. 

During recording sessions for Kylie Minogue's tenth album "X" Minogue encountered songwriter Guy Chambers at a function, who offered her a song he had written over the previous four years and built around a sample of Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot's "Bonnie and Clyde". Cathy Dennis joined Minogue in furthering the track, which became "Sensitized". 

The following year, "Sensitized" re-emerged on the Christophe Willem's album "Heartbox" as a bilingual duet between Minogue & Willem, slightly remixed but maintaining the riff's from the original "Bonnie and Clyde" (the latter two in a different key.)

This mix, combines the instrumental of Minogue's Sensitized, and vocals from Jay Z's Bonnie and Clyde. I did consider adding (and I still might) the english spoken word vocal of Belinda Carlisle's cover of "Bonnie And Clyde"… watch this space.

This is the actualisation of ideas I've had over the last 20 years. Beginning with, what I think, is a pretty obvious link between the scenarios of "Twin Peaks" (Laura Palmer) and the Urban Legend of "The Wild Rose" (Eliza Day)  which became the duet "Where The Wild Roses Grow by Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue in 1995.

The end result became 7 mashed up tracks using songs that I loved from my early child hood, teenage years, mid twenties and now, and the music of Twin Peaks.
